Hey, cut tschmack some slack. He gets paid by the letter. You wouldn't want to be the one lowering his pay - would you?

Hope he gets on the field this year....

well, that's good news!
Depends on how you look at it. If his foot is "not ready to come off" yet, it is implied that at some point it will come off when it is ready.
There was once another Vince who said players had to play with broken bones, concussions, and severe lacerations. So what is this Vince's problem?
His problem is he isn't that Vince.
Considering it's only a foot and he's still breathing, I'm not sure that's his problem.
Rumor, nothing more, that Biegel may get cleared this week. Not holding my breath, but that's what is being rumored.
whew. That would be good news. I only hope he's been taking the same "vitamins" that TJ Watt has been digesting!

Pfft. Details.
Pboi, hope the rumor is true. If the Packers had the luxury of available bodies, then keeping him on PUP would make sense. He needs reps because he'll need to play this season.
This guy’s activation kinda determines if passing on Watt was the right move or not. Hopefully he’s ready- he’s a born football player, so there’s a good chance he will be.
Nah.
Ready?? For what?!?! To limit the Lions offense under 50???
Hope to see a lot more of this. Nice...

#Packers rookie Vince Biegel played 16 2nd half snaps vs BAL... Love seeing him knocking a RB around on a pass rush.. This defense needs some bullies

Fennell can’t stand Fackrell. Thinks he’s too soft. I’m sure he’s on board with Biegel getting the majority of the snaps.
Listening to Moss gush about Fackrell playing his best game in GB last week though. Who knows what they’ll do with snap counts.

That’s such a beautiful sight... man if he’s as good healthy as he was at UW... my kind of LB.
TJ vs Vince tonight.
Motors run high with both players and I suspect they will be higher tonight.

I'm guessing Moss gushed about Carl Bradford too so I'd bet we see very little of Biegel.
He and Dom wouldn't have known how to use TJ Watt either.
If Vince is playing vs TJ then the Packers have bigger problems than who is coaching them.

He'd probably put up more resistance than Spriggs.
Biegel played 22 snaps compared to Fackrell's 46 last night.
I guess Vince will need a full and healthy offseason to make any impact.
I think he brings the right attitude to the defense. Pure football player. Should be on the field. Was disappointed in last night- especially knowing they weren’t getting much pressure.
Fackrell did very little in last nights game and I have to believe they need to play Biegel more.
No no. Fackrell had the best game of his career against Baltimore. One of the ****tiest offenses in the league. So there will be no Biegel.
Dammit people. Winston Moss wants you to know Fackerell is looking better. And as long as Moss thinks Fackerell is getting better Biegel can go find a seat and get comfy.
Moss knows what he’s doing!!!
It's ****ed. I don't have to be a coach to see with my own two eyes that he's not a very good player. Doesn't make him a bad guy but this is the risk when you have two injury prone players ahead of you. Fackrell is not close to a starting caliber LB.
#Packers rookie OLB Vince Biegel played a season high 22 snaps vs PIT... (15 pass/7 run)... Used hands and stayed active to fight off blocks but lacked any impact. No flashes of speed or strength...
— Ben Fennell (@BenFennell_NFL) November 28, 2017
No problem - the Packers will get a good chance to draft VB's replacement this year.
and to think we coulda had the speedy & stronger Watt kid, too!!! (ducking).
Think when it all shakes out King+Biegel is still likely to be > Watt.
Watt would have gotten injured in GB, and misused by Capers.

This is a false dichotomy. It could have been Watt & King just as easily, or Watt/Awuzie, or Watt/Tankersly, or Watt/Witherspoon, there a literally hundreds of ways that could have went.
Heck, it could have gone Watt, Alvin Kamara, Cam Sutton, Tedric Thompson.

No way King lasts past the Seahawks.
Maybe, maybe not. There are these things called trades, also. The point is there were a number of quality corners still on the board later and those weren't the only two options. Watt, Kamara, Cam Sutton, Tedric Thompson and maybe a Corey Clement is FA looks pretty good also.
Also entirely possible Watt simply wasn't that high on the Packers board. You can speculate endlessly about what might have been but in the end the move will always be about those three players in the mind of most.

Would like to see Vince get some significant playing time over the final 2 games.
Can't say I've been impressed with what I've seen in his limited playing time so far.
I think it's more a case of the defensive scheme being too complicated and or the lack of good coaching that makes it more difficult for anyone to excel in this system.
makes it more difficult for anyone to excel in this system.
See Hyde, Micah, or Hayword, Casey. Now in the Pro Bowl.
Best evidence against the Domster....
TJ Watt had 4 sacks yesterday and a blocked FG.

Holy mackeral, I knew TJ Watt was pretty good but that's pretty amazing. When I watched him at Wisconsin, I kind of thought he reminded me of what Clay Matthews was coming out of USC back in 2009. Physically a bit different types, but both had a relentlessness and football instincts to excel that stood out.
That all said.... I like Kevin King and while he likely will never be as good as Watt, I don't necessarily think that was a bad pick if he stays healthy. Watt may be an All Pro type, while King could be a very good CB, maybe even a Pro Bowl level type someday though he isn't at that level yet.
