Unless they shank 21 yarders constantly, the difference between an average punter and a good punter is negligible in terms of their effect on a game. That is why you should never waste a draft pick on one. One or two extra missed FGs during a season because of breaking in a new holder is not worth switching punters at this point.

How about training a backup RB or QB to hold for field goals? They could prove valuable if there’s a botched snap and run or pass if necessary and do a better job than a punter could do. Just sayin’….
