Stave hit the short pass slightly better, but was a statue. He's also the third string QB right now. Stave also had one reciever to throw to.

On the pregame Matt Lepay asked GA some questions and he basically stated that the QB and passing game is coming around,
McEvoy has had one good game and that was against a terrible opponent. Unless he can start to make some plays in the passing game I see this as a .500 team.

Agreed. This team has more of an 8-4 type of feel to it. They'll lose to Iowa and then two more total out of Northwestern, Nebraska or Minnehaha.
I am not as worried about Iowa because they can't score either. Minnesota isn't an offensive juggernaut. It's the Nortwesterns and Nebraskas and Marylands that concern me.
