Recently MiLf said, and it has been referenced here (Boris I think), that there are a number of plays/schemes they don't run without Lazard. I wondered how much of that might be 21 personnel. So, re-watched a significant chunk of the week 6 game and their pass plays out of 21, even on the 1st 2 drives when they scored, did not fair well. Saw a lot of #82 on the field for GB that game. Best play out of 21 (that I recall) was a 25 yrd run from Williams behind Patrick/Turner after Jones motioned to the left - that was on their TD drive.

Chris Simms and Mile Florio both love the Bucs in this one. Both agree Tampa is bigger, faster, more talented, and have more players that will run through a wall just to get to the SB. Simms says TB wins 9 out of 10 vs GB and it’s just a bad matchup for GB. Doesn’t see how the Pack can run up middle vs Vea or outside vs White. Says if Rodgers has a special game Packers have a chance. I think they are off-base and really didn’t speak to some of the things that really caused that week 6 game to go sideways. They did mention too many deep routes, and the need to throw more quick on-rhythm stuff, I agree with that. But as has been said, TB not having zero penalties again, and the Packers have made so many changes that media types don’t even think about, ie. moving Kirksey outside, having Lazard back (huge run block asset), etc. And yeah, Vea isn’t just going to jump in and play every down and dominate. Going to be a great game, and a lot of these talking heads are really reaching with this Tampa is a better team BS.
