Just back from walking the dog while wearing my Packer hat.

Guy on his drive way shouts, “I just gotta say, Go Bears!”

My reply?

”But they’re not playing today.”

Even Mrs.Kiel laughed.

I believe "Fuck you Pakrz" would have been more appropriate in that situation.

The thing that bugs me the most in the Brady > AR because of SB wins thing is this ....here is NE's defensive ranking in points allowed in those 6 SB-winning years ... 6th, 1st, 2nd, 8th, 7th, 1st. Even in the 3 times he lost they were 5th, 15th, and 4th. So in 8 of his 9 SB years his defense was top 10 in points allowed, 5 times top 5. Even in the years he did not make the SB (9) the were top ten 7 of those years!!! So how many times has AR had a top 10 defense?   3 times , year we won SB, last year, and year we lost shootout at Arizona. So how many SB's does AR make it to with 15 seasons of a top 10 defense?

We will never know, right now the fact is he has as many SB wins as Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Pat Mahomes, TOG etc.

Its a team game, he doesn't have anything to do with Brady.  His team was beaten soundly last year in the NFCC game, his coaches and some teammates let him down in Seattle.  His team played well on the road in Chicago and won.

I suspect and feel strongly that if his team plays well and his coaches don't fuck up he will be on the winning side today.  12 has seldom been the reason the Packers have lost.

It's a team game.

I'll give Brady his due but let's face it. The AFC over the years has been pretty soft INMHO. AFC East. until Josh Allen came along, Bills , Jets and Phins. The Bares would have won that division every year. What's left Steelers, good 1 yr terrible the next. Ravens good D offense middle of the pack. Bronco's same as Steelers until Elway left. Titans decent team but don't scare anybody.

Packers have had to deal with tough Minn (Cough Cough) and Bares (Cough Cough) teams in their own division. Seattle always tough, Niners,Rams and Cards all decent teams, Atlanta tough team that chocks, Carolina (when Cam was there), Cowboys,Saints,Eagles. Nuff said!

I fully expect him to play extremely well.

Brady is one of the greats but the media fawning over him leading up to this game is difficult to stomach.

He's a great QB on a team that's won, but if you look he's his playoffs stats are just average relative to other QBs. His playoff career QB rating is 90.2 (Rodgers is 100.4).

The last three Super Bowl wins for the Patriots were 2014, 2016, and 2018. During those playoff runs, Brady threw 19 TDs and 10 interceptions. Not bad, but not a superstar level performance.

Brady is more accomplished. Rodgers is more talented. NEXT!

If the Packers are fortunate enough to win a Super Bowl this year, Rodgers joins a very small group of QBS with multiple MVPs and multiple Super Bowl titles: Brady, P. Manning, Unitas, and Montana. He's in the conversation for top 3 all-time.

If the Packers don't win, he's probably top 10-15 all time.
