It's early... but Peppers looked like garbage in the preseason and did absolutely nothing in week 1.  I'm a little surprised Peppers' production versus salary isn't a point of contention here.

People who win in the lottery do nothing to "earn" their money either.  What's your point?

I've always been a big fan of Shields. His play is lacking at times, but I feel like they always seem to play better when he's in there. Some of you say he's over paid and it's hard to argue with that, but I still think he's a valuable piece of that secondary.

Thing is, that shoulder injury is gonna put Tom Terrific back in the driver's seat, possibly for a long time. Wasn't Don Makowski's career torpedoed by something similar?

In 1992, the Majick Man injures his ankle and Favre comes in and throws 2 TD passes to beat the Bengals.  Don Majkowski never sees the field again for GB.  Not like the Brady situation.  Here is the history:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Majkowski

This is a slightly expanded version of FANDAME comment.  Besides, I probably need to up my post count anyway.

That Majik year was so entertaining.  The win against the Bears.  Winning at SF.  A lot of thrills.

Some time after he held out, it was a game against the Cardinals.  He was tackled and his shoulder took a whopper of a hit (smashed against the turf).  Majik was considered a nice QB whose arm strength wasn't so hot to begin with.  I am pretty sure that once that injury happened, he lacked the arm strength to be a bona fide starting quarterback.

Of course he is. MM's concussion protocol requires the players to solve Hilbert's sixteenth problem before they can play.

It's a little known fact that Dom would come into work each morning and see that complex defensive coverage questions he had on his chalkboard from the night before were solved. This happened while Sam was the night janitor to make pocket cash. UDFA and all.

Might make for a great movie. It's not your fault Sam.

Actually Hilbert is about 40 miles south of Green Bay.  Just take Hyw 57 south and you go right thru town.

Unique story. I like it!

You solved it! Unfortunately, I don't think Hilbert's is one of the million dollar questions. It's Powerball for you, bro.
