Hey R Man,

I did the following search using duckduckgo:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=darn...&df=d&ia=web

One of the options is "past day."  Anyway, this was the first site in the list.

Savage got his left leg twisted and pinned under Cowboys running back Tony Pollard as Packers inside linebacker Blake Martinez awkwardly pulled him down on a nearly missed wrap-up. Martinezโ€™s flimsy arm tackle was broken on his approach, but he managed to hang onto Pollard and drag him down by his thigh with his teammate caught in the process.

An update on Savageโ€™s injury said the safety โ€œhad his left foot trapped on a tackle and his knee was forced into valgus, which means a likely MCL sprain or high ankle (sprain),โ€ according to reputable NFL and sports doctor David J. Chao.

โ€œThe hope is itโ€™s mild because his knee was flexed and his foot was quickly pulled out, which means he escaped serious injury,โ€ Chao wrote. โ€œHe has a chance to return, but because heโ€™s in the secondary itโ€™s unlikely. This injury appears to be a combination of a left high-ankle sprain and a left knee MCL sprain, these two injuries are paired when the foot is trapped.โ€

Obviously uncertain, but best guess is he dodged a bullet!

Thank you.

Cornerback Kevin King played through a groin injury suffered against Philadelphia but bruised a knee. Outside linebacker Za'Darius Smith tweaked an injured knee suffered in the Denver game on multiple occasions, though he did finish the game.

"One thing that I didn't do, I didn't put my brace on before the game," Smith said. "I thought I was going to be OK, but as you can see when I went down I had to come out. They actually put the brace on for me. I think I went down another time and that's when the brace kept sliding off. I just had to rejuvenate it and get myself back together."

Yes, their LBs are more run stoppers then pass defenders, thus the run look with 3TE or 2TE & 2RB sets and make those LBs cover. We've seen what Lewis can do coming out of 3 pt after chipping the edge  we know Jones and Williams work well in space, and even Graham seems to have stepped up as of late. Use MVS & G-MO to occupy the back end on deep and intermediate routes, and let the TEs and RBs work the underneath.

All about that YAC.
