Brewers up double, single, walk, walk against Arrieta. They go up 1-0 with the bases still loaded and nobody out. They get nothing more out of it. Hiura with a killer popup with nobody out and then a strikeout from McKinney with one out. You at least have to get that guy home from 3rd with nobody out.

The fact that the Brewers are 13-8 with the what were supposed to be their three best hitters starting out like this is a testament to how good the pitching has been.

Yelich, 9 games played. 1 RBI

Cain. 7 games played. 154 BA,

Hiura. 558 OPS/-0.4 WAR

It was great to see the team bounce back and win 2 after Fridays beat down.  Wong has been a welcome jolt for the offense.  Whiule it will be good to get Yelich and Cain back, how can you take McKinney out of the line up?

It’s all about the pitching.  After a nightmare game on Friday they bounce back and win the next two.  Obviously it helps that the wind was blowing in but hey, that’s the way it goes.

13-8 and basically the bats haven’t really warmed up yet.  This also hasn’t been an easy schedule to start the season.
