+ We all thought Fackrell was a wasted roster spot.  He looked like a young Clay tonight.

+ D as a whole held up reasonably well despite injuries and staggering amount of time on field in 2nd half.

+ Adams and Jones are both top 10 talents at their position.

+ Better draft position

+ That much closer to MM being shown the door.

Negs

- Jackson has taken a big step back.  Don't know why, but it looks like he's lost some confidence.

- Injuries.  Daniels, Clark, Breeland

- Now the obvious, MM play calling on 3rd down.  MM calling 4 running plays in the 2nd half.   MM not challenging a huge play late in the game.

- Zebras ****ing us out of about 100 yards in BS flags and non calls.   Even the big reception to Adams, no flag while Adams has to make a 1 handed catch because he is being held.

- I'm too emotionally invested in something that is absolutely meaningless to my life and that I have no control over.   Sports is stupid, but I'm a addict.

If I am looking at this correctly the Packers really had only 3 starters on D on the field at the end of the game if u count Lowry as a backup to Wilkerson.  I can only think of Alexander Mathews and Martinez, am I missing something?

So yet another winnable game (Washington was a disaster) but NOPE we again are our own worst enemy.  The stats on offense are going to be so misleading.

flashes we get flashes but that’s about it. That still frame of Jones hell he could have fallen down got back up fallen down again and still have a touchdown.

Ummm, Fackrell hat trick was great.

Tonyan TD was boss.

33 productive.

12 to 17 hookups.

1st down pass, 2nd down run, 3rd down pass,  4th down punt. (5 3rd down sacks).

Where was run game in 2nd half?

Rodgers and co. had chance to win in 4th Q and did the usual 3 and out.

And Matthews missed a ton of tackles again tonight.

The D didn’t lose this game. A fumble on the first play. Making Wilson’s life miserable in the first half. Three short fields to start the second half. More guys dropping like flies. Makeshift, diaper-wearing secondary. Band-aided DL. And yet, they play hard and don’t embarrass themselves. And guys are put in position to succeed. If anyone here thought Fackrell would have two — TWO — games with three sacks at the start of the season, you’re lying. But he’s been put in position to succeed and motivated to do it. We could never say that about Dom, and now never about MM.

The O was miserable and the blame lies there. Why most of us thought adding Philbin back to the fold would cure the O ills, I don’t know. It’s been a disaster, and the whole offense has to be revamped under a new HC and OC. There’s good players there: Rodgers, Jones, MVS, ESB, Tonyan (potential), Adams, Bahk, etc., but no one to do to the O what Pettine has done on D: put guys in a position to succeed with scheme, creativity, and insight as to what the players do best.

I hope MM is put in a position of cleaning out his desk tomorrow.

Lots of great individual effort; Jones, Rodgers, and Adams most notably on offense; DL, Fackrell, Martinez playing through injury, Alexander on the back end on defense.
Our other guys in the back end tend to have struggles, but they are competing.
Scott had a relatively good game; his hang time was outstanding and that allowed good coverage.

-
Looking for 'moral' victories in a loss.
We can see the parts are there, and that they do work, yet when they're meshed together, failure occurs. And the guy in charge of fixing it can't.
Injuries. Starting to run out of bodies and still have 6 games left.

We've lived through worse, and we'll live through this.
It's just so damned frustrating in the meantime.
Sigh.

Adams was dominant.  He’s a legit top 5 WR in this league.

33 is a really nice weapon to have when they use him

Fackrell reminded me of a young CMIII.  Hope it continues and I’d gladly admit I was rong on the guy.  Oh and **** you Dom.

Tonyan!!

They could if and should of won this game.

The officiating was bad in this game.  Seems like that always happens when we play Seattle on the road.  NFLFU.

It’s been said time and time again but the playcalling in the second half was mind boggling.  It’s become so predictable and that’s frustrating.

They are 4-5-1 and barring a miracle I just don’t see this team “RELAXING” and flipping the switch and making a run.  Not totally impossible but not very likely either. In a fairly wide open NFC that sucks.   Given MMs presser after the game he’s the least inspirational figure I can think of right now.

+ there is a lot I like about this roster. Gives me hope for next year and I will enjoy development over remaining season

- that 8-0 run prediction starting with Miami got edited to soon

No way this team makes the playoffs.  They will lose to the Vikings and to the Bears.  Like Darren Woodson said earlier today on ESPN, this team does not know how to finish games.  In my opinion, I predict an 8-7-1 record.

Buh Bye MM.  It's about time and good riddance.

+as bad as this team is...we'll have less night games (I am so old I can't take them) and less games with Troy and Joe

+ I agree Jones and Adams are legit top talents...I think EQ will become a great possession receiver if he can pull his head out......

- just sloppy from top to bottom, the league has certainly left Mike's outdated offense in the dust, it happens to everyone after a decade...but this once well organized guy  looks like it's his first week on the job-from the penalties to the lack of reviews, to his third down selections to giving the ball back to the Seahawks with this depleted group with 4 minutes left--I laughed and went to bed...as Gene Wilder would say in blazing saddles;"What did you expect?"

Hope you don't mind if I post this here:  I used to just pray for the receivers when Bert would throw to them.  He would just wing the ball and hope they could get it.  I loved Aaron for being so accurate and not putting the receivers in a horrible position as to get injured while catching the pass.  With Aaron's troubles, is he falling into Bert's habits of not being as accurate as he used to be?? and it's pretty sad when CNN has an article on him.

Pfft.  I predicted 8-7-1 after WK03 but couldn't find 7 more wins so I adjusted more to like 6-9-1.

Fackrell needs to send half his game checks to Mr. Pettine.  I wouldn't call him the new wizard, but maybe witchdoctor.

I saw about 3/4 of the game and while they looked like they had finally turned a corner in the first quarter, it returned to the same old stuff for the rest of the game.  Some splash plays with a whole lot of fumbling in the dark in between.  I turned it off after the short field 3-and-out and SEA's 97 yard drive.

It's been the story of the season and I don't see it changing.  Many from online forums to national media have said "they're close" but I really don't see any difference between GB right now and about half the league sitting near .500.  Every team, even the perennial hapless have a few big plays and a whole lot of facepalm in between.  We're one of those teams!  Sure there is some new talent on the roster but you have to do better than that to be a real contender.

I couldn't remember when I had seen AR look as inconsistent and sometimes flat out mediocre as he has been this season.  But he had the same problems to open 2016 or 2015, can't remember.  But I recall much talk about his struggles.  He eventually snapped out of it but I don't see that happening this year.  Maybe it's all the new faces on O or MM fading like a fart.

Bad calls......the kickoff holding happened in the 2nd quarter, the pass reversal with 2 minutes left in the 3rd.  Lots of time left to put them behind, regroup and play well.  Jones fumble against the Pats, the whole 4th quarter left.

Seems like this team has no resilience, no backbone.  What controls that?

Coaches, team veterans.....both are lacking.

8-7-1 would be an ironic record it was exactly 40 years ago they finished 8-7-1.

Positives,

Fackrell had a great game and looks fast and is playing hard

The defense played its heart out even when they were down so many players

Jones in the fist half looks like the real deal

Adams is a stud.  He now needs the other WR's to get open so he won't face constant double teams

Negatives:

Not having other receivers pushing the D more so Adams can get open more

Injuries.  Damn I should have known a couple of weeks ago when it was mentioned that the Packers were the healthiest in years.  I swear the Packers are snakebit with injuries

Not rchallenging that catch late in the game.  I could be wrong but I think there is a coach in the box who is responsible to buzz down to challenge a play.  I get where they didnt want to lose a timeout but something broke down to not challenge that

Defense.  yes I know I had them as a positive but I put them in a negative as well.  They played typical Packers defense in the second half and Wilson and running game made it too easy

The roster.  I think this roster is starting to come together but it still seems very thin to me

I still am not on the can MM camp but I am getting there and I think many who want him gone are going to get their wish.

Why the hell is St. Brown on this team? It's almost every game he's running the wrong route, dumb ass penalties, but's he's got great hands, then he should be holding for Crosby.  St. Brown is going to be  the curse to MM, just like Brett Hundley was to Jordy

Jimmy Graham is stealing money, along with Randal Cobb and China Doll Kevin King

He's a rookie you ****ing idiot.

I have no idea how you can watch a sport with so many black people.  I'm sure your game time commentary is scintillating.

I think he just improved as a player. Pettine is not doing anything exotic with Fack, we're seeing KF beat guys with speed around the edge, inside moves, and hustle. I'm not trying to take anything away from Pettine, I like him and I thikn he's been a great hire, but there's no magic that Pettine did with Fack, I think we're just seeing things finally click for him. It takes longer for some players. I've been critical of Fack in the past, as we all have, but he's always been a h/w/s guy who was just missing that mental piece (much like Spriggs). We're seeing the mental piece click for him, hopefully next year we see it with Spriggs. We got Fack for one more year on the cheap, better resign him ASAP while his value is still low.

ESB is a rookie. This is a bad take.

And how many TEs have to be brought in here and be a bust before we stop pointing at the previously productive TE and instead point at the offensive staff that cannot figure out how to incorporate them into the offense?

And Cobb has been grossly misused in this offense for years.

ESB has two things you cannot coach...great hands and wheels.

You can coach a player into running great routes. People bitched about Duh-vante running wrong routes and dropping too many passes the first three years. Kinda glad we stuck with him.

That is a big complaint I have with the scheme. I assumed Graham was going to be a seam buster, especially against the Vikings. They seem to be using him more like he's a slower Jordy Nelson that sometimes is an in-line TE. Send him between the Safeties or run the flag against a single high and other things will open up. That's Mike Zimmer's biggest fear is that his Zone D will be exploited by a Aaron Rodgers and an athletic TE.

He's got size also to go with his hands and athleticism. When/if he, MVS, and even Moore can grasp the technique, they will be outstanding players.

I disagree with this. Watch Fackrell's plays and see the work CM3 was doing. His play this year has not shown as much in the stats. He still gets doubled, A LOT.
