Missed the 2-4 qtrs and probably won't watch based on the comments during the game and the final score.

Watched Rodger's post game presser, numerous times he had a smirk when responding to how this or that can be fixed. Almost an "oh **** it" kind of response. If that's the case, McCarthy has lost the team.

If AR is tuning out the coach and that attitude is spreading then he needs to be shown the door as well. That's a BS attitude from a supposed leader. I don't think he's tuning MM out though, I think only defensive players are at this point. Specifically I think the veterans defensive players are not playing the way they should. The offense has averaged 27 points over the last 4 weeks, that would be 5th best in the league over that span and is easily enough to win with. I have been critical of Rodgers this year and in last season, but right now the issue is the D giving up 28 ppg and the way the D is starting/finishing games.

That was not my point.  My suggestion was if AR is out, it doesn't really matter if the rest of the team is.  He is that important to their overall success.

The 28ppg is a bit tainted by the fact a good chunk of those points were had while down by enough that the opposing D may have been a bit less than urgent.  It sure looked like there were glimpses of the passing game of yore but they are so up and down from game to game and from series to series that it's hard to trust any definitive take on what they are.

It's been pretty comical watching Julius Peppers literally jog through defensive series giving what looks like the most minimum effort possible just to make it to the next play while earning 10.5 million. Or seeing CMIII sitting on the sidelines being paid 14 mil and set to make 15 + next season while nursing yet another hamstring injury.

These are among the leaders on defense and the message is pretty clear you can skate through on effort and/or milking injuries and keep collecting that paycheck.

This is a weak ass, soft defense save maybe a couple players like Daniels. And that too is not a new theme under Dom. These guys play timid, soft and scare no one.

I pointed this out in the game thread, the sad thing is that there are defensive players that are busting their butts. Martinez, Ryan, Thomas, Elliot, Fackrell, Gunter, Dix and other young guys are playing their butts off and are playing well. I would throw Daniels and Guion in there as vets who play hard, but unfortunately it seems like some of the other vets are hit or miss in terms of effort. It has to be deflating for a guy like Martinez to play like a wild man only to see a big play be given up because Peppers or Burnett just whiffed.

+ got to see packers in my hometown and in person. good packer fan attendance for tailgating and in the stadium. great pregame flyover and tribute to 101st airborne.

- listen to local sports radio for next week! team plays with no passion, seems like this team takes for granted to be on field and in packer uniform, no passion or pride.

couple of other observations: during the national anthem, cobb and nelson assisted the solders in holding the flag. while titans players were all in a single uniform line, packer players were  in random  groups. peppers was in rear standing in front of the bench alone.

Just caught PackersNews postgame live feed. They said McCarthy will not survive the season barring a miracle turnaround

We were at Animal Kingdom decked out in our gear and saw many packers fans Sunday. Never thought I would be sitting behind someone wearing a Titans jersey on a bus in the Serengeti watching gazelles not feeling proud of my team.

I think the big positive I take from the game is that the loss happened the same day my poop looked like Arby's Curly fries.  Now, I know what you are thinking, how is that related and how is that positive?  The loss is a waste, as is the poop.  The spin is the poop shaped curly fries presented something beautiful and unique, giving hope to what should have been a simple floater or a long flat shaped submarine that just sank to the bottom with no character.  The Packers are a game out of first and have a chance to jump on the toilet next week.

very cool. we're staying at AKL. spent sunday afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon and saw 2 guys with Packer hats. after the score popped up on my phone, I didnt even feel like engaging with the other poor chaps.

zero energy or excitement throughout the whole organization and fans.

just a stale operation that needs a shake-up and much cutting of dead weight

I thought he'd regain some of his athleticism with the weight loss, but it has not happened. Almost as depressing as watching Lacy's college highlights vs. his long "run" vs. Cards in playoffs.

No idea if he'd have kept it up as the weight started creeping. But he was running hard before the injury and averaging over 5 yards per carry. Don't agree with the comments that Eddie was a disappointment this year. He wasn't. He just got injured.

Sunrise or sunset?

Either way, it's going to be amazing.

Sunset.  People don't stand around looking at a sunrise.  They want to get going.  Most people will stop and have a beer watching the end of the day.

That being said, if it's a Packers Sunset -  it might indicate that darkness will soon be on the horizon.

I look at it that it represents the sun is setting on the recent Packer woes...tomorrow is another day and hope is on the way.   All we have to do is win the division.  I don't think a Wild Card spot will be available this year.  But the division title is still in sight.

Come on, guys!  did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!!!

Eddie has amazing feet for a guy his size, which makes him a good RB, however there is just no way that he is as good at 260 as he is at 230. Look at Elliot from Dallas. Picture him with 30 pounds of added fat on him, do you think he'd be as good as he is now?

Lateral agility. Richard Rodgers < Telephone Pole.

Are we sure Cal didn't have two Richard Rodgers on their roster? The one that ended up in GB looks NOTHING like this guy.

The guy did say that for him he did not see the explosive speed.  To me that means the change in gear right off the line that gets initial separation.  But it does show him catching the ball in traffic.  And he did not have the same coach or offensive system for 2 years in a row in college - and had to change his body type given the role he was to play.  And all this maybe results in a player with not quite enough skill in any one area to flash at the pro level consistently.  I think the guy in the video was right about the lack of explosive speed.  That alone makes anyone coverable in the NFL.
