Oh my gosh, I thought what the heck ya talking about Charles Barkley for. Sir Charles indeed.
They're both black. That's close enough for Goldie. 
I thought I heard him called Sir Charles on NFL Network.
I defer to the man with a picture referring to one of the greatest movies ever written by guys from Wisconsin.
Woodson was so dominant. His play at the LOS was maybe his best asset, which says a lot about his ability and how he played the game.

1) Can you write the story of the NFL without Charles Woodson.
IMO, no you cannot. Defensive PoY plus Super Bowl Champ.
He still had juice remaining when he left Green Bay. Obviously due to the fact he had an issue with Dom, like we all did.
Fuck McCarthy & Fuck Dom for not changing & thinking they could "do the same thing again" to win a title.

If he isn't a first time ballot HOF then I think a big review of the voting process needs to be done.
Loving me some Charles as a HOFer, too! LeRoy Butler is still on the list for the HOF. How about we send both Woodson and Butler to the HOF, this time around? GO PACK, GO!!!

His counting stats looked great when he retired, now he's only 78th in career receptions and 58th in career TDs.
If he plays 5 more years (until he was 34) and performs at even 75% of his peak over those years, he's looking at about 350 more receptions and another 35 TDS which would get him to 100 TDs for his career which would be top 10.
He won't ever get in. He was great in the playoffs (4 TDs in 2 games), but not enough. He was 3X first-team all-pro and was probably the 2nd best WR in the league over a 5 year period (behind only Jerry Rice), but he wasn't transcendent like Gale Sayers to get in based on a 5-year peak.
It also doesn't help he was hostile to the local media and was a selfish teammate (waiting to hold out one year until a few days before the regular-season opener). I don't blame him for being selfish given that he suffered a career-ending injury only a few years later that cost him big money, but he won't get any help from intangibles.
He'll probably be the best Packer player not to get elected to the HOF (assuming Butler gets in some day).
And I agree now that Jerry Kramer is in.

I donât agree with this. Sterling Sharpe set the single season record for catches in a season not once, but twice. And that his numbers were great at the time of his retirement matters quite a bit. There is a pretty good argument that he wasnât the second best WR in the NFL during his peak- he was the best. Jerry Rice did his damage playing for a HOF coach on a team with 2 HOF QBs playing at Championship level. Sharpe had Don Majkowski and an early, not yet matured version of Brett Favre. Sharpeâs final season he caught 18 touchdowns because Favre was finally developing into a top level player.
The Gale Sayers precedent is exactly why he should be considered. Itâs exactly why he should be in. In the same 7 year period as Jerry Rice, Sharpeâs #s Sharpeâs numbers compare. At age 29 Sharpe had at at least 2 more top shelf seasons left in him, and a few more productive ones after that. He averaged 105, 1285, and 14 TDs his last 3 seasons. This means when placed in an offense with better talent and scheme, he blossomed- just like Rice did. Put Sharpe on those Packers Championship runs and you have undeniable numbers- which of course is the rationale for Sayers to be in. Did great, unprecedented things while playing, clearly the top of his profession during his time, cut short by injury.
Sterling Sharpe should be in the Pro Football HOF. And I believe Charles Woodson was called âWoodyâ or âWoodâ by his teammates.
