What if Brady went to Kraft and demanded Josh stayed put?
Holy **** this entire thing could be growing tentacles.
And Josh just committed coaching suicide. Hoping blue shirt/white collar gave him the legacy deal.

I hope someone sent an EMT or an UBER to Irsays house tonight. Or both.
Forgot about Gruden in Oakland. ok, Texas it is!
Brady can subside on all the almond skins rolled in sea kelp extract as nature can provide. But next year is another next year.
You cant continually beat back NFL seasons. You can’t.
This more than anything makes Josh McDaniels a dumbass.
bspn article with sources "close to the situation" claim McD had second thoughts about IND because of strain on moving family, familiarity and relationships with NE. Then WTF do you interview and accept a job with IND to begin with? You'd think he is at his first job out of school.

McDaniels is a dumbass if Andrew Luck comes back healthy within the next year.
McDaniels would be committing career suicide as a head coach if Luck never comes back. Two stints as a failed head coach are usually all you get. Then you become a career coordinator.
Andrew Luck is what makes that job a good one.
Some guys are just better coordinators.
Pettine, for example. But he knows it -- at least that's what he says.
A healthy Luck is what makes that job a good one. A healthy Jacoby Brissette not so much.

This is standard cover your ass gobbledygook. Some type of fix is in.

Thinking Tebow was a franchise QB looks almost sane in comparison. He's going full Lane Kiffin. Never go full Lane Kiffin.
Can someone remind me what Terrell Buckley Malcolm Butler did besides that one play in the Super Bowl?
Started three years as the #1 corner for Bill Belichick.
Pretty much irrelevant though. Indy is going to send him a blank check when FA starts.

Skip to about 30 seconds. He's shown he can cover and be a good tackler. But you do wonder where his head is at sometimes. Mike Pettine apparently covets a good DB field vs mass pass rushers. Which, if true, is interesting. Usually a decent pass rush covers up a lot of warts from a less then stellar cornerback group.
Colvin would be less expensive and good in the slot, but I'd also like someone who can run with the burners on the outside. GB cannot get slower; we need some speed on both D and O.
A million times this.

I don't know that the pass to Brady was bad. More like Brady's legs forgot they were 40 years old.
He overthrew Brady....launched it off his back foot because he was getting chased....not a bad throw...just not good enough to get it done. I don't put that one on Brady...he was wide open.
So are you saying Brady made some great moves on the defender to get open?
35yr old brady gets under that ball.
45 year old Brady catches an on target pass.
Brady catches it if the ball wasnt so inflated.
I'm guessing that play isn't practiced much in Foxboro so I can understand the guy not anticipating Brady's speed. I also understand the guy who threw the ball wasn't a QB.
If Brady drops the pass in the forest and nobody is there to see it does it make a sound when it hits the turf?
45 Bradys want to know.

No...the defender got duped

Depends on what the ball is inflated to.
There's already been a deflated post.
Tucked balls make no sound. Except in C-Woods nightmares.
Phrases to ban on x4.
#381: tucked balls.
"Tucked Balls". - the name of my new band.
"Tucked Balls" Sound more like the Queenie fans during the NFCCG !

Or it could be a reference to the 8 years of Barry and Manchelle
Better than the current No Balls.
Mouth balls seems more appropriate.
Well, now that I've read this article I absolutely want the Packers to pick up Butler.
Long story short: Butler doesn’t fit what Thompson often looked for in a cornerback, both in terms of measurements and athletic testing.
Given how terrible our cornerbacks have been, it's clear they're doing it wrong and Malcom is the way to go.
George Costanza theory
They fired Capers, wasn't he the problem with the defense?
