I think the bandwagon your on is going to get crowded or have you always been an Ohio St fan? B1G fans are going to be unbearable for a while, the inferiority complex is a nasty one.

I think the two best teams won (Ohio State and Oregon) and it should make for a decent championship game.

Also good to see the precious S$C get knocked down a few pegs.  The reality is there's a lot of really good college football being played outside of the S$C and bowl games are a good place to showcase what they can do.

As for Urban Meyer hell yeah he's annoying and slimy but the guy can recruit and his teams win.  With Harbaugh joining Michigan the Big Ten isn't going to be a pushover anymore.
Yeah he recruited and reinforced real gems like Percy Harvin, Aaron Henandez, and Ray McDonald. He's a slimeball. How anyone could be happy that guy won anything is beyond me. You hate the SEC for the ways they run their programs yet Urban runs his program exactly like an SEC program and you cheer him on. Astounding.

I am not happy for the guy - where did I ever say that? I doubt that many of us care for Ohio State either.   However, there are a lot of Big Ten fans that should feel vindicated this bowl season after hearing all the "the $EC the best and no one else matters" the last several years.

Some of the best players in the country play in the Big Ten - a conference that many have said doesn't play modern football, doesn't have athletes or team speed, can't win big games, blah blah blah

Just eat some crow and let us enjoy it

What exactly has he done at OSU as compared to FSU?

I'd put big money on OSU. That team is just on a roll. It's almost like the combination of the QB getting hurt and that player's suicide has focused this team from a good, inconsistent bunch to a focused group playing up to all their hype. I'll be rooting for them…

Christ you have the inferiority complex worst than most. No one has ever said that. People said the SEC was the top conference when they were winning 6 consecutive national championships. It was true at the time. College football constantly evolves. No one ever made it sound like the Big Ten was behind the times.

I love the Urban Meyer apologists. When he was in the SEC he was apparently a scumbag but his reputation improved because he's in the B1G? I get it.

Actually, this gets said a lot.

Other than that, Meyer is a ****ty human being, so it is hard to cheer for him.  A stronger O$U is good for the conference, the conference being better is good for Wisconsin.  I don't particularly care for either team (didn't really care for any of the final 4), but all things being equal, I'll cheer (to strong a word) for the conf team.

Big man, you are arguing way too much to be a neutral.

This OSU alum has to admit that I was ready to admit defeat in that early in that 2nd quarter....football is the ultimate team game.  By halftime both sides of ball really settled down and played great football.  Could have done without Powell blowing the coverage on the last 'Bama TD or running around like a dam fool after the clinching INT.

Regarding Big 10: I disagree with you GD, I think there is such a thing of conference pride when it comes to college sports.  NFL not so much, and I really can't tell you why I just know that yep I'll rout for all big ten teams, yep even Minnesota, during bowl season or March Madness but could never ever do that for NFL, MLB.

Regarding Meyer:  When he was initially hired I was not a happy camper for all the reasons already stated during his time at UF.  I can't say that I've done a 180 yet either as typically slimeballs are slimeballs.  I'd like to hope that he has changed and realized, 1) he's were he wants to be and doesn't want to put tOSU in a negative light with off-field antics/etc and that 2) especially with the Hernandez crap that you cant win in life by surrounding yourself with Asshats.  So far so good, but again I'm not totally sold just yet.

37 and 3 and as far as I know no major violations, so far so good. Still dislike him and The Ohio State.  Hard to choose between a fricken tree and a duck but if OSU can play turnover free ball they have a shot.  Slimey or not the guy can coach.

I guess it's Go Big 10 for me.(holding my nose)

Yup I like Oregon too. They're -7.5 point favorites.

Oregon's defense is underrated but we'll see if O$U gives them the ball as much as F$U did.
