Clay coming back from a broken jaw.
Haha?? Hahahahahahahaha -- He's out there protecting his property & collecting that paycheck. He'll go through all 32 teams before he retires/gets cut

Might be time to re-watch some Packer defensive "highlights" from 2017 and 2018 YA.

That's on top of this year's class draft class of which only Montgomery has really contributed. Only one of the other 4 draft picks has played any snaps at all.
The Mack, Trubisky, and Montgomery trades have wiped out their draft capital.
Very true about the Bears prospects not being good in light of their draft issues.
But you left out the part about them being up against the cap as well. Look for some more defensive pieces to be departing the Windy City after the 2019 season.
Who knows, one of them (Trevathan) might even want to join Mr. Amos up North in 2020 to help shore up the Pack's D.
Isn't Kwiatkowski also a FA come spring?
For a brief moment last night... I actually felt sorry for Bears' fans as they had to watch that disaster of an offense and FG kicker they have.
I actually thought Trubisky might actually be their answer at QB, but he has regressed from last year and last year he wasn't anything special either. Who knows, maybe it's the injuries he suffered earlier this year to his non-throwing shoulder that have changed him a bit, but injuries don't explain how poor he is at seeing the field and reading defenses.
The only thing that I will say in Trubisky's defense, I think they've currently got one of the worst offensive lines in the league and they aren't doing him any favors. I don't know that anyone would light up the league with the surrounding cast he has but he definitely is not capable of elevating his current team members like some of the better QBs could.
That option they tried to run in the 3rd quarter was horrible. It looked like he had never run it before. Ever.

That really struck me as Mitch didn't go as deep toward the line to draw the defenders, thus dooming the play.
Seems like just yesterday that some were proclaiming Mack the missing piece for a SB run and Mitch the best QB in the division. Things have certainly changed.

Their success was a product of Dom's schemes.

I can. HaHa hasn't looked good for a number of years (even though Pro Football Focus claims he's really good.... I beg to differ). Clay has been in steady decline for awhile.
Those early years for Clay, man he was fun to watch. I just think he's a pretty ordinary NFL starter at this point, not bad, but not really good either. When he was at his best, it was amazing how strong he was for his size, he was capable of bull rushing much bigger OTs or use his quickness to go around them. It seems like those exceptional skills deserted him a few years back and I don't think they'll return at this point in his life.
Clay can't set the edge, frequently overpursues RBs or QBs and gets caught in the wash A LOT. Sad to see after those impressive early years.
Why canโt Fans separate actual analysis from fanboy talk. I like the Packers and hope theyโre back in the hunt this year, but Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is a more complete safety and a better player than Adrian Amos. Just deal with it guys. Telling the truth isnโt a slap at the Packers.

Whatever little credibility Hub had left disappeared completely with that one.
Trubisky has melted down. He has little to no self-confidence and cannot lead his team.
He may fare better in another environment, but I suspect he will be a journeyman from this point on.
