However, this is a throwing shoulder, so eight weeks is a better minimum timeline. That still puts Rodgers back before season’s end, assuming his team is still in the playoff hunt.

I'm good with calling this season a wash if it means getting Rodgers fully healthy.
Take the underdog role. See if the defense can nut up (The Wizard rides in on his unicorn) and what a retooled offensive strategy can produce.
Mostly agree. Don’t bring him back too soon. However, I remember his first game back after the last collarbone break. He did well!
That wasn't his throwing arm.
True, but we are talking about Aaron freaking Rodgers!
Just make the playoffs and have a healthy return and see what happens!
I'm rooting for Hundley to do so well we have a quarterback controversy....
I'm telling ya...this is his shot.
He has decent RBs, decent WR'S & TE'S. A good OL as long as they stay healthy.
We're going to see what Hundley is made of on Sunday. One way or another.

You guys are seriously setting yourself up for disappointment. Let's hope for a Alex Smith type performance. That's pretty solid. Let's see Aaron Jones and the run game take off. Let's see Oline not going down like dominos. Let's not see the Packers defense. Yeah, that's a complete sentence.

We shall see.
I can tell you right now what you're going to see. Not that.
Hundley needs to be passing quite a bit to open up the run game but he's not throwing any Rodgers passes. 10 to 15 yard dink and dunks.
New prediction. The amount of insane, off the charts, pants ****ting threads will consume the first page.
Nope.
So ya think his accuracy will be changed??? I do....I think it's gonna be a while before he's back, he'll be an ok QB, but not the gawd we knew before the break.
8 weeks recovery from an injury = 6 months recovery time in Green Bay
Packers put him on IR.
but maybe back right? it doesn't say season ending IR
Silver Lining. If the defense stinks up the joint and Rodgers isn't there to bail them out, we could see a new defense next year!

Is that confirmed?
Eight weeks minimum. My guess is he's done for the season.
Week 16 - Vikings
Week 17 - Lions
I wouldn't bet on him being done unless he doesn't heal fast enough and the risk is too great to play right away.
Let's see what BH has.
Packers holding out hope that Aaron Rodgers could return for Dec. 17 at Carolina, per a source. Might be a long shot, but they're hoping.
he's done......and I just hate to say it.....
Then don't.

You don't know. And I wouldn't bet against that guy....
Lets say he does play again this season
Does it count as a fourth quarter comeback?
Take the bye week and learn to throw left handed. Back by the middle of November. Still top 10 QB.
In 2018 he won’t have an actual blindside.
Think about it.

If they make the playoffs, he'll be back. Realistically have to go 6-4 for that to happen.
We have the Browns, so let's say 5-4 in the other games (if you can't beat the Browns you don't deserve to even talk about the playoffs).
They have the Panthers and Steelers which would be tough games even with Rodgers. So let's project two losses there. That means they have to go 5-2 in the other 7 games.
Home: Lions, Vikings, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Saints
Away: Lions, Bears
Can they win 5 of those 7 games? I'd say it probably depends on how healthy Stafford is over the rest of the season.

I think the accuracy will be there before the velocity. I don't think we'll see 65 yard moon bomb hail marys until 2018 even if he does come back.
Maybe focus on beating New Orleans first.

We're fans on a message board. We are here to discuss and focus on all things Packers. Much like your lucky jock strap you wear every Sunday, it has no impact on the game but feels good
.
5-2. That’s all that matters.

I doubt the Browns are going Detroit this year. Nothing is certain.

Throwing by Thanksgiving.
Rapoport's reporting that the Packers don't expect him back this season.
I would trust Schfters word over Rapoports. But neither are totally reliable.
Nobody knows jack $HIT.
Who gives a ****? He's out until Christmas or whenever.
Focus on beating the Saints. 1 week at a time
