The Texans are scoring 17.6 a game, 29th in the NFL. They are averaging 195.6 yards passing, good for 31st. Osweiller has been quite underwhelming, throwing a lot of picks.
But that defense is in the top 12 in points allowed. I highly doubt they play zone against a gimpy Rodgers. Look for back to press D and a lot of man coverage. WR's will have to get separation and give AR a window to throw.

It would be really nice if Michael could actually get more then 1 carry. Guys in football shape, has played plenty this season for the Hags and did well.
Like Monty, the Packers need to figure out a way to get him involved. Starks has been a step slow since the start of TC. He simply isn't the back he once was.

Clay Matthews called it a "cheap shot" that Allen Barbre gave him on the block that injured his shoulder. Was it legal? "They didn't throw a flag, probably because I'm not a quarterback," said Matthews, who returned to the game after getting a pain-killing injection.
Tauscher said it was a clean hit and it appeared to be just football to me. Sounds like the hit injured his pride as well as his shoulder.

I get what he is saying. I think he just used the wrong words. The truth is, it's easy to knock someone on their ass when they don't see it coming.
Players love to flaunt it afterwards, but it doesn't mean you beat the guy in a straight up 1-on-1. It means you got him not looking and off-balance, and that's all it means.
Give Linsley a lot of credit for keeping 12 out of harm's way. Fletcher Cox had his way with Spriggs, but Linsley often saved the day.
A week after playing poorly, Joe Thomas bounced back in a big way. He was the main reason talented TE Zach Ertz was barely a factor.

I think Clay might be frustrated because I remember during the dreaded NFC Championship game 2 years ago, Clay got flagged when blindsiding Russell Wilson on a block when Wilson was trying to tackle somebody on one of his 5 interceptions. I know I personally was pissed because Wilson wasn't just standing there like a dummy, he was genuinely looking to tackle somebody but they called the foul on Clay as he laid out Wilson good since he didn't see him coming from the side.
The rules aren't the same for everyone, and I think Clay probably was blowing off some steam because of it.

That hit from Barbie Doll may not have been so much directed at CMIII, but at GB in general since he got run out on a rail here. He was turrible in GB and I don't doubt that the Packers let him know it.

2011, Packers are at 13 - 0 and rolling through defenses. The defense that derailed the 16-0 bid was run by Romeo Crennel. He is now the Texans DC.
On MNF I figured Schwartz (common knowledge of AR) would be able to make Rodgers uneasy, but he was not able to and AR had a great game.
Can MM, AR, et al thwart any designs by Crennel and the HOU D?

That's a good point - I was expecting the Packers O to struggle, too, against a Schwartz D, but that didn't happen. Bak and Bulaga have played really well. Houston has good OLBs in Clowney and Mercillus, so I like the matchup for the Pack there (given how well the OT's played against the Eagles OLBs, who have been very good). Not sure much will happen in the run game - Houston is good in the middle of their D. Would be great to have Lang back.
