Not sure I understand that one… unless they’re thinking about dealing a G to get some frontcourt help.
Guys like Pat C and George Hill and even Grayson Allen are playing a lot of minutes. Perhaps too many minutes. I think that’s a factor.
Giannis out again tonight against the Raptors.
From B/R
Happy birthday Giannis!
Giannis turns 27 today with a ridiculous resume:
NBA champ
Finals MVP
2x NBA MVP
5x All-Star
All-Star Game MVP
DPOY
5x All-NBA
4x All-Defensive
Most Improved Player
In other news, Divincenzo has been assigned to the Herd to work his way back to the lineup. Great news, looking forward to getting DD back.
Giannis Antetokounmpo comes back after missing a couple games with calf soreness and scores 27 and pulls down 12 rebounds in 27 minutes in a 112-104 #Bucks win.

If nothing else, if you can get him back for even 12-15 minutes a game and George Hill returns, we won't have to watch Javonte Smart and Rodney Hood out there as much as we have.
DDV coming back will help them a lot.
Less Hood and Smart and you don’t have to play guys like Allen and Hill as much as they have.
DDV pushes Connaughton to SF, where he’s probably a little more suited. But I suspect that the Bucks have more moves to make. Cousins cannot be counted on- he’s badly out of shape and is already showing signs of breaking down. They need a rebounding big badly. The good teams are destroying them inside.

It all depends on what the prognosis for Lopez is. If he is expected back in mid-March, he can play his way into shape and they aren't going to find anyone better to replace him even if he's at 75% for the playoffs.
If Lopez isn't back in time to play his way into shape (hard to keep your cardio up after back surgery), they'll have to make a move.
To get anyone of value back, they'll have to package Lopez' contract along with some other assets - probably DDV and Nwora.
It was really a mistake not to extend Tucker. If nothing else it's another contract you could have moved at some point.
