Flying in with my son for our second annual trip to Lambeau.
Not only do we need to win, but we need to win big.
You sure about that? This team hasn't shown enough for me to believe they can win. It is a short week, the only RB on the team has a bad ankle, The secondary has a lot of injuries, The QB lost his mojo, and now I hear the fans are the problem.
Gonna be a tough game. CHI came in here last year and got it done. They are still a hot mess but I'm not sure anymore it's any hotter than our mess.
Depends on who is playing CB position and can we come out in this game with the same mind set offensively that scored that one drive in the second half of the cowboy game. I actually thought that was a good drive and had some quick passes to Monty that worked.
What award is Murph giving Favre at halftime this week? An honorary recliner in the atrium? **** me.

You are what your record says you are. Green Bay is 3-2, Chicago is 1-5. Chicago's not a better team and there's no way they should win.
Sounds like Adams is NOT in the concussion protocol, and Bulaga should be ready.
McCarthy also said right tackle Bryan Bulaga (back) and receiver Davante Adams (blow to the head) are still being evaluated. He said he expected Bulaga to play because âitâs going to take a big, big injury to keep him out of a football game.â McCarthy did not confirm what Adams told ESPN.com after the game, that he did not have a concussion, but said, âI was told heâs feeling pretty good. Thatâs the only thing that they told me.â
McCarthy expects BB to play no matter what because it's his last season playing RT for the GBP.

A fast turnaround is exactly what the team needs. Put that **** show from yesterday behind us, and get back on track against an inferior opponent. Then, take advantage of the mini-bye to get healthy.
If this team can't get it together and produce against a bad Bears team, this is going to be one long, frustrating season.

Packers bringing up RB Jackson from the PS. My guess is DT C.Ringo gets cut and they hope they can get him back on the PS.

Why he stands out: Jackson got a late start in football thanks to a troubled past, which was chronicled by the Reno Gazette-Journal last year. He barely played until his senior year of high school, and despite one teacherâs prediction that Jackson would be âdead or in jail before he's 17,â according to the Gazette-Journal, he eventually made his way to Nevada after junior college. As a senior last year, Jackson rushed for 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games. He combined for 15 rushing touchdowns in his last two seasons. At 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds, he reportedly ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at his pro day on March 29. Although he wasnât invited to the combine, that 40 time would have ranked tied for fifth among running backs who ran in Indianapolis in February.
Why he has a chance: The Packers didnât draft any running backs and signed only one other rookie (Brandon Burks from Troy). While Eddie Lacy and James Starks go into the season as the one-two punch, Crockett is far from entrenched as the No. 3. Heâs a former undrafted free agent who wasnât promoted from the practice squad until last December. If the Packers decide not to bring back fullback John Kuhn, who remains unsigned, theyâll likely only keep one fullback on the roster instead of two like season, which could open up a spot for another halfback.

According to that piece, the biggest issue with him is his ability to stay healthy.
Think he has been more of a kick returner for them.
Really good RB at Arkansas, just struggled with injuries. He went in round 3, but I think if he had stayed healthy he easily would have gone in round 1. He's a talented player, definitely a north/south bruiser in the mold of Jonathan Stewart.
Oh goodie, he and Starks can hot sheet it at the hospital.
The Knile ain't just a RB in GB.

LMAO hey if the Packers are going to honor Bert in anyway on Thursday I will kidnap him before he even gets to the stadium. I am sure I can get the funds raised on this site to pay my bail and I could probably find a lawyer who is a Packer fan to defend me for free.
Traded what or who for Knile?
Last night there were reports they were going to promote Jackson from the PS.
Also, initially it was reported that Adams was not concussed, and then he shows on the report with a concussion.

With Starks, Adams, and Lacy hobbled or out, they'll need more Monty in the backfield which means more snaps for Davis at WR. Knile is probably coming in to be primary KR for now. I still think they'll promote Jackson and move Ringo (hopefully) back to PS.

With Charles back, Davis was fourth on their depth chart and in the final year of his contract.
It turned out that Davis was never a fit in Reidâs offense, where backs have to be able to handle the passing game both as a receiver and blocker. Davis was unable to adequately handle either area. He improved over the years, but never to the point where he could be trusted.
He's a mini AP: Doesn't catch, doesn't block and fumbles a lot. Oh goody.

He's a good size back (5'10" 225 lbs.) and a north/south runner with speed. Having speed does not make him a speed back.
