Rodgers has to go Bobby Fischer tonight and surgically push Chicago D to checkmate.
Cant take sacks. Can't. Can't. Can't. Can't. Can't. Can't. Don't let the D think what they are doing is working. Can't give Fangio what he expects.

Chili is saying a screen is good play when you're suffering in pass pro at the tackle spots no matter the D call because it, in theory, will cause those D ends to have to slow a step and watch for it. So if it gains 3 yards, it still has lasting impact on the game above and beyond those 3 yards. In other words, it doesn't have to be a home run game changing play for it to be successful and useful.
Yeah, I'm coming off as a ass here and I don't mean to be. I don't even disagree with Ammo that it might be a good idea to try.
My whole point is, that I used to be one of those fans that would constantly and blindly call for a screen pass to be run more often when a QB was facing constant pressure, while lamenting the intelligence of the play caller. So I did some research and listened to people who know a hell of a lot more about football than I do about what factors into when they call a screen pass, and one of the answers I found is they are more hesitant to call it when only facing pressure from 3 or 4 men. And as Chilli mentioned, the coverage schemes being run by the defensive backs is also a factor.
To summarize, my whole point is; Ammo's not wrong, Chili's not wrong, and neither am I. Just understand, that if the Packers come out and face a ton of pressure and don't run the screen pass you're screaming for, McCarthy hasn't all of a sudden forgot how to call a game. There might be other factors you aren't considering that are affecting that.

As long as he doesn't go the Bobby Fischer that doesn't show up for games in the world championship match or the Bobby Fischer that becomes a lunatic anti-Semitic recluse.
Hooray! A couple of first downs. No 3 & out

I agree that game was close to being as bad but I want a true 60+ dropped on them one day with the utter feeling of despair we had as fans back then. Even during those dark years and as bad as the Packers were the Bears showed no mercy.
