Show on Apple TV+ about the Patriots dynasty. What a scumbag Bill Belichick is. The way he handled deflate gate and the Aaron Hernandez disaster was disgusting. He will never hold a candle to the sheer character and the force of personality that was Vince Lombardi.

That's why Vince's name stays on the trophy.
They can talk about longevity and wins all they want....Vince's name is on the trophy for a reason.....
....and the Mighty Green Bay Packers will stop the KC Chefs from 3-peating if nobody in the AFC is up to the task.
If anybodyâs name other than Vinceâs ever ends up on that trophy I will be done with the NFL

Belichick and all the other coaches before and after can thank cancer for giving them a chance to break the record for wining championships.

In Vegas last weekend I put $50 on the Packers winning the 2025 Super Bowl.
Payoff is $1,050. Wish me luck.

In virtually 1 month, the odds dropped from +2500 for me to +2000 for you.
I made that bet the day after the Chiefs won.
After Gutey nails another draft plus some FA safeties....it'll continue dropping.
No matter what happens....it's great value.

I THINK I'm OK with $50.
Won $166 on their record for the 2023 season....
The line was +7.5 for wins in 2023. So we got it after the Viking win.
Expect the line to be +9.5 for the 2024 season.
I looked into other futures the day after the Super Bowl. Only one available was next years Super Bowl
I agree that it'll be 9.5. I'll wait till after the draft to ponder if we get to 10 wins....

Hmm
Never coming here again! I was just playing.
They HATE the push.
I think I understood the push part, just randomly wondered if ties came into play in any way. I guess not.
Iâm pretty sure that 5 championships in 7 years is still the gold standard in the NFL (Packers).
Celtics 11 titles in 13 years Bulls winning 6 titles in 7 years will top that but I still think the Wooden UCLA run of 10 titles in 12 seasons is probably the most impressive feat.
The Belichek and Brady Pats are certainly a dynasty but given their bending of the rules makes you wonder if some of their success is a bit overstated not unlike Clemens and Bonds and McGwire and what they did as players. The shame of it is none of those cheaters probably had to do it.
The impressive thing about Wooden is he didn't have NIL, transfer portal and non stop recruiting like they do now. Also freshman could not play so he had only 3 years of a player. Of course it helped when he had Lew, Bill, Gail Goodrich, Sidney Wicks, and Marques Johnson among many others.
Wooden didn't have NIL.....but there were plenty of rumors about his players getting paid. Look up Sam Gilbert if you're curious. NIL actually would have made it more difficult on Wooden b/c UCLA would have been forced to play on the same level as other schools when it came to paying players. Really takes the shine away of "wow how did John Wooden do it?" because the answer was "because Sam Gilbert was paying the best players to come to UCLA". Doesn't change that he was a good coach but a whole lot easier when you were all but guaranteed the best players.
He had the 60âs version of NIL, Sam Gilbert.
Still the best coach with the best run. A true dynasty.
DamnâĶbeat me to it

Indeed
Nor does BB match up on the Championship side either:
Vince won 3 in a row, BB never did
Vince took 9 years to win 5 Titles, it took BB 17 years to match that feat -
even with serial, institutionalized cheating as the guiding light in Foxboro

Patriot players trash great coach ever (allegedly)
Moved your post here YA.
Is Kraft going to blame Billy B for the wins over the Failcons and Panthers and Rams?

If you watch the show you will see why Kraft blames Belichick for certain issues and he is right. Billy B is a scumbag. To this day no one knows what flew up his butt and made him bench Butler. I personally think it was a contract dispute.

What surprised me is that even Butler had no idea why he was benched. I just figured there was a backstory that no one talked about - but Butler saying that in his documentary puts some pressure on BB to reveal why he did it. I know if I was an organization that was going to hire him for his next job I'd want to know what his thought process was. Butler didn't appear to miss curfew, didn't get into a physical alteration with anyone at practice, or publicly embarrass the Patriots in any way.
I think your guess is probably as good as any - that Butler wanted too much money in contract discussions and BB wanted to show him (and others) that he could win without them. It's basically how he treated every Patriots player other than Tom Brady (and he even ended up driving Brady out in the end).
Benching Butler with no explanation to anyone for that Super Bowl game might be the worst coaching (non-spur-of-the moment) decision in Super Bowl history.
Well, he treated Brady like shit too. The only player he gave a long leash to? Aaron Hernandez. Proof that he is a scumbag.

Both him and Urban Meyer while Hernandez was at Florida (during which time Hernandez likely murdered someone as well).
Both extremely successful and both scumbags in different ways. The commonality is they both aren't afraid to exploit people to win at all costs. Urban is the type that smiles at you while figuring out when he is going to stab you in the back. He's a complete hypocrite. BB isn't a hypocrite at least - he makes no attempt to hide what he is like.
Really well put. Both had operations in place to pay folks off after they had been victimized by Hernandez. There has to be cap violation in there somewhere.
