He'd still be a waste as a 7th round pick. Hell, he'd be a waste as a UDFA since he isn't even worth the $1000 hit on the salary cap when he's inevitably cut. He's absolutely worthless, not worth even a nickel or a minute of time from any team.
Big risk/reward pick. Best thing we have going is Patrick Peterson is his best friend/mentor, and they both work out with PP's dad. There will be clauses for weekly drug tests, etc. in his contract. I hope the kid stays clean and succeeds, he had a screwed up childhood. It is up to him, Cards are giving him a chance.
I saw that interview with him after he was drafted. I hope it works out for him in Arizona.

When Todd McShay said he came from one of the worst situations he had ever seen a kid grow up in, you know he must have had a very very tough life long before he got to LSU. Hopefully the light goes on with him and he takes the Donald Driver type path (ex drug dealer turned into hero) instead of a different path.

It is very typical in Louisiana to have a nickname, moreso than any other state I've lived in. Especially if you have character and are popular. Almost all of the state politicians do--it is even on their name cards on their desks. Much better described here: Nicknames in politics
