With as putrid as the Packers have been the past 5 games, there's still a sliver of hope, albeit, a small one.  And by the way, weren't we saying the same thing in 2010 when the Packers, coming off a loss, were sitting at 8-6 with 2 to go?? Best the Packers could be is 9-6-1.  Lions and/or Bears wold need 10 wins since they can't

Here's the remaining schedules:

Lions

@ Philly

Baltimore

NY Giants

@Minni-suckfest

TBSS!!

Dallas

@Cleveland

@Philly

Packers

Packers

Atlanta

@Dallas

Stillers

@TBSS!

I think Detroit and TBSS!! certainly are capable of losing a couple of their remaining games.  The questions is whether or not the Packers can run the table.  With a healthy Rodgers, I think it's possible, but The D will have to step it up quite a bit.  But I think having AR in the lineup could do just that.

One week at a time.  Let's get that first victory next week and see how things go.

Anything's possible......right???

……just tune it out.

It's possible I could win the Powerball lottery too. Except I don't have a ticket.

If Rodgers is shut down for the season, and I think that's a strong possibility especially if EDS's injury is one of these "multiple weeks" deals then what to me is a real possibility is them going 5-10-1.

I believe GB could lose every game (without purposefully tanking it)  and then TT will have to address what changes will come. And with 5 wins, you'd have to assume major changes coming and a lot of familiar faces going buh-bye,

If you think Rodgers comes back next week AND you think we can win out, then you dont need to worry about Chicago. if we were to win out, they would be behind us.

Not sure what is more likely, us winning the remaining 4  or the loins dropping 2  but youd need both to happen. i think we'll know in 2 weeks, as the Dallas trip is our hardest remaining game , its on the road, and the Lions 2 toughest foes are the next 2 weeks.

Correct about TBSS!.

I'm not suggesting the Packers will win out or even might win out.  Without Rodgers, it's pretty damn near impossible - truly miraculous intervention would be needed.  I just think TBSS! and Detroit are not very good.  And looking at their remaining schedules, there's certainly a decent possibility of losing a couple of games.

As mentioned, the Packers and TBSS! aren't really in contention against one another unless it comes down to Week 17.  But the only gimme for Detroit is at Minnei-suckfest.  And is that really a gimme.  AP could run for a bundle.  And is Detroit really a "sure thing" in gimme games??

If AR sits, the Packers are done.  But the Falcons aren't that great, so even if Flynn plays one more game....who knows!

If ARod comes back, then winning out is a decent possibility. But without him and a patchwork OL, then 5-11-1 is also a decent possibility.

TT and MM will not suck for a better draft pick. ARod will only sit if he truly risks further injury. Of course playing with Newhouse is risking injury.

The 2010 team had actually shown some fight though. Look, a Lions collapse is well within the realm of possibility. The NFC playoffs on the other hand... Rodgers or not... uhh... errr... uhhh... well... uhhh... erm.....

Ghost! FYI, these guys are pretty tricky! They got me in a constant state of confusion.

Personally, I'd think 5-11-1 is impossible: that would be 17 games.

Yes, I did see animal house - although it was a long time ago.  So my memory of the details is a little fuzzy.

Can't see this defense turning it around with 4 games to go. I know the Giants had a big late season turn-around in 2011, but that was due to their D-line getting healthy. When this group is healthy, they still suck. Even if they do win all four and make the playoffs, they won't win more than one game. Not a chance in hell they go into a place like New Orleans or Seattle and win. I'd be thrilled to be wrong, of course.

If we can beat Atlanta--at home--I'll believe we can still have a shot.

Otherwise, if the same team as the last few weeks shows up, I don't know if there is any game of the last 4 that we could win.

If AR12 plays, the Packers can win out. Detroit is definitely capable of going 2-2 or worse. But Green Bay will go nowhere in the playoffs--just like all those years where Favre carried the team on his back.

This team has been exposed for the one trick pony that it is.  Regardless of how they play the rest of the season the best things to happen this year will be off-season:  GB should get a better draft position than in the past. All those FAs (13?) will be easier to sign back if TT decides to try to keep them (Does anyone think Jones or Raji or Pickett or Shields will command mega-buck contracts? If they do, does anyone think comparable talent cannot be signed?). And just maybe TT learns from Belicheat to sign some FA stopgaps whose Wonderlic scores allow them to learn the system. And maybe a free agent coach or two will come in who know how to teach blocking, tackling, and playing your position. And maybe TT will spring for a strength and conditioning consultant.

I like the thought and wold love for a miracle to happen, however, the defense is playing like gutless pigs, I am on the verge of thinking draft pick in the top 15 and shelving Rodgers to prevent further injury.  Reload in 2014, stay healthy,gulp, and go 14-2

I don't care anymore.  Until someone on that team wants to and enjoys tackling, they are a project and not worthy of consideration.  What I would do for a healthy Desmond Bishop and Lattimore right now in the middle.  At least those guys seemed to like to hit.  So sick and tired of watching Brad Jones and AJ Hawk go for 7 yard rides.

gutless pigs indeed, derps.  I can handle watching an offense operate poorly.  I can't stand watching ****tyass defense and guys that look like they're afraid to get dirty.  AR should stay out as long as EDS does - the Oline is a joke once he goes out.

If AR IR's, GB has a legit shot at a top 10 draft slot.

Can we finally stop with the "like 2010" bs?  The only thing this team has in common with that squad is the injury list.  The 2010 team never lost by more than 4 points.  The current fruit basket loses by multiples of that.
