Hate to say this......but am feeling a new boyfriend in my future....he’s go 40 TD’s and how many games left??? A gawd.....and he’s what, 22?
Have you heard your new boyfriends voice? You might want to invest in a ball gag.
For him or her?
Yeah better just get two.

So, being basically average in terms of the percentage of cap space vs the rest of the NFL means they cannot do anything but have mediocre players?
NO has the 3rd most cap dollars going towards QB. Pittsburgh 7th. NE 12th.
Seemingly, they can don't have this issue that the Packers and their 15th spot do?
Is that your position? Or were you actually not aware that GB is only 15th in cap space spent on QBs?
As stated GB is 15th now, how does this project into the next couple of years?
Any way to find out?
How come the supposed most accurate QB ever can't throw slants anymore like Carson Wentz just did?

And best of all his first name is Patrick.
Edit: Not me.

Your approach will never work because you are bringing data to a dogma fight
So in 4 months...
The HC he had tuned out and was done with for years gets fired mid-season
He gets a new HC and OC who appears to understand how to run a modern day NFL offense.
He gets QB coach who he actually likes and respects.
He has a GM who made 4 marquee moves in FA (so far) to drastically change the face of the defense, the team as a whole, and who signs a OL who can play T or G to help solidify the right side of the line. FA moves he's openly begged for since the 2016 loss in the NFCC to be "all in".
And now a 2019 NFL draft that could mean an offensive player haul the likes he hasn't seen since 2013. He could be looking at a TE, OL, WR all drafted in the first 3 rounds.
Maybe it's my own wishful thinking but I don't see how he's not completely stoked about this 2019 team and the future moving forward at 1265. A complete talent shift, a whole new way of thinking/building his team, and a willingness to be all in knowing there is a window of time to get back to the SB.
With all that and his bazillion per year he better be all in.
I would imagine that AR has to be excited about the aggressive style in the GM's office. Time will tell how the rest of free agency, trades, and free agency work out but it feels like they have turned a corner and I would bet AR feels the same way.
Wonder if will use his psychology & call Jordy Nelson?
Recent si article

I know gergs rep on this board and this is somewhat of a regerg-itated story but Rodgers does come across as a bit petulant, sensitive and passive-aggressive persona. I hope last year is an aberration...and he can honestly get over himself and his petty annoyances with play calling and no one cares more than me attitude. All of his worst flaws seemed to come to a head last year and was revealed in his chemistry with everyone and everything!
BTW...as I was re-reading through this post...I quote Goldie before what became the AZ debacle...
"I JUST WANT TO CRUSH ARIZONA......not just win, I WANT A CRUSHING" 😂😂😂

To get him to come in as a WR coach/consultant, yes.

The Bleacher article was thought provoking. And I thought I would never say that about them. The one from SI was just a short version of it. There was/is a lot of finger pointing to go around. Camp and preseason is going to be interesting.
I think AR needs to have the philosophy of a good marriage, "You can be right or you can be happy, but not both."
I thought it was a good article, but not really earth shattering to educated Packer fans. What scares me most is Murphy's role in this whole thing. Was he so disconnected to the football aspect of things while trying to grow the Packer "brand" that he didn't know how bad TT was doing? Or how terrible the AR/MM relationship had gotten? If true, I'm glad that he didn't ask for AR's input on who to hire. No matter how great a player is, they cannot dictate coaching/personnel moves. We've seen time and again in multiple sports, that it doesn't work well.
He was building a sledding hill...there are only so many hours in a day.
I read the articles but I suspect that most AR fans suspected some of this all along! Now I am not an elite QB talent but I am a smart thin skinned pr**k and I surmise I can relate to AR and his ego/thought process. So if I could speak to him I would say what a lot of you already have - swallow that pride and get to work. I have read all of the gloom and doom about Rodgers declining skills but I suspect this is hokum. Just remember when Bert had the terrible 05 season age was felt to be the victim, not apathy and indifference. We all saw the 07 revival and I think AR can experience a simiar rebirth- all depends on him.
I also suspect AR is going to have to humble himself a bit as he did in 05 and things will be fine. If he goes the other way ala TO his career and reputation will be totally trashed so he will swallow his pride and make it work
Was it really necessary to post the same useless link twice?
and he does give love to who protected him....
Nope, that was a passive aggressive backhanded shot at his current OL. Very sneaky!
sarcasm

As a fellow smart, thin skinned prick my guess is Rodgers is the type of person who can be very affable but likely has few, very deep friendships. This is what likely makes it very easy for him to put people on the outs if he feels offended.
The whole "don't be the problem" statement is likely more than fine and needed. Publishing it, well, that's another matter. You pretty much cemented that resentment into place. Rodgers may transcend it but you can bet your ass he will never forget it and likely it will eat at him.
I don't doubt there is a sizable amount of truth to all that was reported but this Tyler Dunne article is starting to look more like a hit piece than journalism with integrity. There was some stuff that was published merely for a tabloid type reaction.
That's some hacky shit.

We've heard the stories of Rodger's intelligence since he was drafted. His recall of past events is on another level from most. Should not be a surprise that he gets/got frustrated with someone not his intellectual equal.
#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers taking issue w/ several things in @BleacherReport article last week, says it was "smear campaign." Takes issue with anonymous sources "Put your name on something. Every time there's something on me, it's the same two guys." Interview on @WildeAndTausch.

Rodgers says Mark Murphy never told him to not be a problem. Also says he loves Mike McCarthy, and that he hasn't held a grudge against McCarthy for being overlooked in the 2005 draft. "These opinions and ideas and conjectures, it's patently false."

Rodgers appealing to #Packers fans on Mike McCarthy: "I think we need to honor Mike and respect him the right way. We had a hell of a run. ... Instead of trashing this guy on the way out, let's remember the amazing time we had together."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) April 8, 2019
Rodgers asked if he has regrets over his relationship with Mike McCarthy, realizes one miststep: "I wish I hadn't said anything after the Bills game last year. I wish I'd just gone to him in person. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful to him, but I know that's how it came off."

Aaron Rodgers on Mike McCarthy: "I love Mike McCarthy. He's a great man, he has a huge heart. He cares about his players, and he really showed that to us."

Very mature, measured and professional response by AR. Glad he addressed this and at the same time gave due respect to MM.
Also, the more and more this article marinates, the bigger and bigger the smell of bullshit wafts.
Driving home today I came to a conclusion.....
I’m an Aaron Rodgers ball washer.
I don’t know how this happened, and if it’s related to my refusal not to wash Favre’s balls after he had to alienate GB, but here I am sure enough, soap and water in hand.
Bears and Vikings fans are quoting Iroroku Yamamoto
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
