Agreed, Franklin did very well in pass protection.
You gotta have a Plan B or a package of plays for Player B if you want to focus on one guy like they wanted to use Finley and he goes down.
It's so easy on paper . . . .
If they would have went to plan B, they probably would have scored 30 points in this game.
The way the defense set them up, the offense should have scored way more than two TD's.
What You Might've Missed: Bad timing
Some really interesting film breakdown about chances to use Quarless that just didn't quite work out.
A thread was started about it.
That thread appears to be more a shot at EDS than a discussion about the use of Quarless.
I wasn't judging the content, I was merely pointing out that a thread was started about the same article.
Found this interesting in regards to defending a team, and the fact that SFO is 0-2 in their last two games... and their offensive approach in the win vs GB was very centered.
Kaepernick needs Vernon Davis return. In his career, Kaepernick has completed only half of attempts with Davis off field, including 47.2 pct this year
Kaepernick has more fumbles (2) in last 2 gms than TDs (0).
The only way to respect GB's running game is for MM to consistently call running plays. If he does that, teams will begin to respect it. He has to have the mentality of shoving the run down the opposition's throat. This would also help if we could get some decent field position and if we don't fall behind early.
