Used to be more fun when there was Hawkeyes on the squad. I could usually get Mike Daniels attention when they were lined up in the tunnel. He would see my hat and break from him mean mug face for a couple of seconds with a smile, nod and point.

I don't remember that one. I wonder why I was wearing glasses? Normally wore contacts back then. Had Lasik around 2003 and only recently started wearing old fart glasses for reading.

Most of my friends that are Hawkeye fans are viking fans...what happened to you? I mean that in  a good way

Don't know. There's WAY more Packer and Bears fans in the tri-state area. I probably knew 7 or 8 Packer or Bears fans for every Vikings fans growing up. Which is kind of odd since the Vikings were much better in the 70's.

My best friend in grade school however was a Vikings fan. Poor guy.
