He's only had action in the Bears game and the Chargers game so far this year. Near the end of the Chargers game he was getting into it with Tramon Williams.

As for why he's not playing much I'd say it's because of Alexander, King, Williams and Sullivan. The top 3 have been healthy for the most part and Sullivan has been a solid 4th CB.

They have been playing more Safeties than CB when they go heavy DB.   So you got King, Alexander and Williams getting all the CB snaps.    Your 6th DB when they go dime has been Redmond, then Sullivan, and this week it was Campbell.

Not sure I'm in favor of Campbell over Sullivan.   Kid has made plays when given the chance.

Third down

Mike Pettine, the Packers’ defensive coordinator, sure must trust Ibraheim Campbell, who played his first game of the season Sunday after undergoing knee-reconstruction surgery late last year. Though Campbell missed all offseason work and the first half of the season while recovering from a major injury, Pettine got him immediately into the playing rotation on defense. He played Campbell in his dime package at the safety-linebacker hybrid position. Campbell played more than half the game — 42 of 73 snaps — and he was on the field for most of the fourth quarter as Carolina tried to come back from a 14-point deficit. Campbell’s official stat line was six tackles and a forced fumble. But he’s a guy to watch as he gets into playing shape, because Pettine has been trying to fill that safety-linebacker position in the dime since Raven Greene (ankle) went on injured reserve in September, and so far he’s failed. It sure looks like he’s hoping Campbell can be that guy.

Seems to me he had some dumb penalties on ST in the Chargers game, including offsides on the field goal that took points off the board for the Chargers so they could go for the TD.

Although he appears ultra-competetive, he's had difficulty controlling himself (stupid penalties last season). My guess is that the staff does not have confidence that he can control his emotions.

He's got 2 weeks to prepare for Kittle. I'm guessing we'll see quite a bit of George on Nov 24.

Kittle is injured and sat out the Hags/49ers game. What is the extent of his injury? We may dodge a bullet if Kittle is out for an extended period or is limited in his playing time.

He may sit vs. the Cards

I'm guessing he'll be good to go for Green Bay.

After the game, Kittle revealed he was not only playing through a knee injury, but a slight groin injury as well. The ailments kept him sidelined for the majority of the fourth quarter with San Francisco clinging to a late lead.
