Mother****er!!  Where's my cut?  Is Ryan Wood on this board?

QUARTERBACK (3): Aaron Rodgers, DeShone Kizer, Tim Boyle.

The big question: Would a win-now, Super Bowl-or-bust team like the Packers really take away from another position that could contribute on the field for a developmental quarterback that won’t factor into the team’s success this season?

Remember when it was such tragedy that the Packers lost Taysom Hill on waivers last season? Well, Boyle is playing the same role this summer, and Hill’s tenure in New Orleans is on thin ice after the Saints traded for Teddy Bridgewater. Boyle probably won’t be the last intriguing quarterback prospect the Packers find. So does it make sense to put him on the 53 when it removes a spot at another position?

Jesus Flippin' Christmas tree.  Do not google "thievin' bastards" unless you're looking for some group man on man lovin'.   Oy.  Do your thing bald muscle dudes but you could warn me first.

Yes Henry....jsonline, Daugherty & GBPG all read this board religiously. I once heard of a radio show that basically followed a thread here doing a point / counter-point.

Interesting right?

Should I start charging admission?

Oh, you meant this.  Me, this morning.

Missed the game.  Sounds like Boyle has some developing to do?  Who'd a thunk?  Did he maintain any of that pocket presence or immediately run to his right and sail the ball over a receivers head?

The question to be weighed is if he's valuable enough to hold a roster spot that could be used for tackle or LB depth.  I like the kid.  I like what I've seen of his awareness on the field.  I have a hard time putting too much stock in his college career because the Connecticut program sounded like a hot mess with a really bad HC *clears throat*.

But, he's still a UDFA positioning himself as a 3rd stringer.  Every team has a guy like this.  Is Boyle going to be more valuable, even in the future, than a guy who will provide solid depth in the LB or Oline rotation?  The idea is to win Superbowls with Aaron Rodgers, not hope Boyle or Taysom Hill or whoever is the next Kurt Warner.  That's the kind of thinking that's been ****ing this team for years now.

Get players who can play and stop with the poorly evaluated roster spot campers and gimmicky, horse**** gameplans that utilizes 3 FBs in a spread formation.

I agree, I think some of us should get paid for our comments. Not me of course but there seems to be some plagiarism going on. Smert folks here. That’s why I stick even when I don’t quite get the humor.

Hawkins was all speed, but little true cover skills development in his time with the Packers. His speed is what kept him around, and the lack of development is why he'll be gone.

Not a cut, just interesting info...

Going to miss Donatello Brown. His inability to cover recievers was generational. We shall not see the likes of his lack of skill in the NFL any time soon. But we will always have the last 4 games. Forever.
