Methinks Goodson is from TT. Gute is not TT. Out with the old and in with the new.

LB Greer Martini cut.
They're going to rue the day when they need a guy who can't cover and explodes on impact. I'm sure Goodson will be swooped up immediately.
Bye Marvin Martini.
What's truly sad is we won't hear the names of Fackrell or Biegel today.
Goodson showed a lot of improvement the last 4 weeks. A lot. But corner was no mans land for bubble fringe guys after Tramon came back and Josh Jackson and Alexander looked like real 1st and 2nd round picks.
Alexander looks great. Josh Jackson looks better.
RB Devante Mays cut.
I bet some of these cuts end up on the PS.
@Henry
Depth, even marginal, is worth keeping until a better option is available.
The bottom will churn between now and next Wednesday. Then it will continue to churn at a slower rate throughout the year. Trust Gutekunst.
First draft pick cut- OLB Kendall Donnerson.
Kendall Donnerson has been released

Add House, then give King a plate in each shoulder. That's solid depth.

I'm wondering if Elmer's Galute is committed to eyeballin' the scrap heap. I'm all for it. There's too many marginal players sucking up roster spots so I'd rather he keeps things fresh. Or freshier. Or not as horrible.
Elmer''s Galute... LOL
That's top 3.
Like Rodgers with Favre, he learned what to do and what not to do.
I expect Gutekunst learnt a thing or two with respect to what and what not from Thompson.
#Packers have released FB Aaron Ripkowski, a source told The Athletic. Have to think that's a good sign for TE Robert Tonyan.

Yes, pretty good indication that Tonyan is in.

Not surprised, maybe that means one more TE?
I confess to being surprised about the Pankey cut. Kid showed some growth last season.
Also about Ripkowski. Wonder if Kerridge sticks over him?

#Packers have released DL James Looney. Second draft pick to be released so far. Definitely a candidate for the practice squad.
ILB Ahmad Thomas has been released
GreenNgoldBlood posted:ILB Ahmad Thomas has been released
Dang, I thought he looked almost as good as Burks. At least as coverage LB. For a smaller guy he seemed to disengage and hit well too.
The French RB was released. Oh Ravier.

Donβt like that
Thomas was supposed to replace Ryan. They went and got a slow thumper just like him.
ChilliJon posted:Going to miss Donatello Brown. His inability to cover recievers was generational. We shall not see the likes of his lack of skill in the NFL any time soon. But we will always have the last 4 games. Forever.
If you only have one weapon in your arsenal, bo is not the way to go.
Vince Beigel has been released

Expect lots of completed passes in the middle of the field
Vince Biegel released per JSO.
Joy, here comes another million TT sucks posts.
Thanks Ted...I do like my Beigels toasted

TT Sucks! First
Crap!!! Supposedly Mack going to the Bears.
If they get rid of Ahmad Thomas, Fackrell has GOT to go. I know different position but...

I agree, but unfortunately with Beigel and Odom being released Fackrell stays..at least for now they only have 4 outside LB's..perhaps they will be looking for someone on waivers
Not a cut, but a possible hint...
OT Alex Light and S Raven Greene are two undrafted free agents who, to this point, haven't been asked to turn in their iPads. Doesn't mean anything yet, obviously.

I like Greene

And replace him with who? Are you going to go with 3 OLB?
If your going to cut Rip like heβs one of the last 4 ingredients in a Ball Park hot dog and youβre looking to shed fillers. Why are Fackrell and Davis still there and Thomas is gone?
Pettine loved the raw piece of ability that Thomas flashed. Fackrell and Davis have already red lined. Weβve seen everything theyβre going to give. Which is 100% **** filler.

Hopefully, Biegel uses the 1.1 million he got wisely and uses his degree back on the cranberry bog in Wisconsin Rapids. Great Badger. High motor, average athlete type guy whose foot injuries probably cost him hanging around as a special teamer for a couple of more years.

Fackrell could take a **** in the middle of the field and still have a roster spot. Unless the Packers miraculously pull of the Mack trade and bring in another guy that frickin' mormon is the teflon OLB.
