What's truly sad is we won't hear the names of Fackrell or Biegel today.
Goodson showed a lot of improvement the last 4 weeks. A lot. But corner was no mans land for bubble fringe guys after Tramon came back and Josh Jackson and Alexander looked like real 1st and 2nd round picks.
Alexander looks great. Josh Jackson looks better.
I bet some of these cuts end up on the PS.

Depth, even marginal, is worth keeping until a better option is available.
The bottom will churn between now and next Wednesday. Then it will continue to churn at a slower rate throughout the year. Trust Gutekunst.

I'm wondering if Elmer's Galute is committed to eyeballin' the scrap heap. I'm all for it. There's too many marginal players sucking up roster spots so I'd rather he keeps things fresh. Or freshier. Or not as horrible.

I agree, but unfortunately with Beigel and Odom being released Fackrell stays..at least for now they only have 4 outside LB's..perhaps they will be looking for someone on waivers

If your going to cut Rip like he’s one of the last 4 ingredients in a Ball Park hot dog and you’re looking to shed fillers. Why are Fackrell and Davis still there and Thomas is gone?
Pettine loved the raw piece of ability that Thomas flashed. Fackrell and Davis have already red lined. We’ve seen everything they’re going to give. Which is 100% **** filler.

Hopefully, Biegel uses the 1.1 million he got wisely and uses his degree back on the cranberry bog in Wisconsin Rapids. Great Badger. High motor, average athlete type guy whose foot injuries probably cost him hanging around as a special teamer for a couple of more years.

Fackrell could take a **** in the middle of the field and still have a roster spot. Unless the Packers miraculously pull of the Mack trade and bring in another guy that frickin' mormon is the teflon OLB.
