Mays will land on the PS. HR just gave him his first availability verbal warning. Next one is written.

And replace him with who? Are you going to go with 3 OLB?
A piece of toast?
I'd go with a charcoal briquette but I get your meaning. That guy is the epitome of a klingon.

I agree, but unfortunately with Beigel and Odom being released Fackrell stays..at least for now they only have 4 outside LB's..perhaps they will be looking for someone on waivers
Zombo was cut by KC...could do worse for a #4 or 5 OLB

Pettine loved the raw piece of ability that Thomas flashed. Fackrell and Davis have already red lined. Weβve seen everything theyβre going to give. Which is 100% **** filler.
Fackrell could take a **** in the middle of the field and still have a roster spot. Unless the Packers miraculously pull of the Mack trade and bring in another guy that frickin' mormon is the teflon OLB.
You must have missed my post that Mack is going to the Bears.

The only reason Fackrell is still on the roster is because Reggie Gilbert bought him a little time with his nickel and dime UDFA contract.
If Gute thinks he can get picks for flipping Davis and Fackrell because he fleeced Seattle with Hundley then have at it.
But Davis and Fackrell need to be gone.
Kyle Murphy apparently being put on IR.
Maybe some other trade ideas are on the table. Those two aren't going to bring ****. At this point, I'd be fine if they went the Ahmad Brooks route at OLB. It's pretty much a start from scratch proposition anyways.

That's part of the joke.
We've known about the Mack trade for a few hours now GoldiPuck.
Green Bay is going to need OL help this year at some point. Those two first rounders they didnβt use on Mack might become assets better served as the year unfolds.

Sorry
Marcedes Lewis' importance just ratcheted up by 100 fold.
Conor Sheehy cut.
As we sit right now, with Mays gone, are Monty and Williams the only guys on the roster to run the ball in week 1?
Looks that way. Can't go into a game with only 2 active RBs. That's a recipe for disaster. Especially when one of them is Monty.
Im guessing they have their eye on someone else.

Mike Gillislee
Daniels and Bouagnon are placeholders. RB room is fine with the starting 5 OL
I saw Gillislee was available. 27 years old... decent history of production. Not a bad option there.
Marwin Evans cut.
Best special team tackler cut. If Trevor Davis sticks Iβm officially pissed.
Iβm not a Davis apologist but the kid is a top 5 return man. I think he was #4 on PR and #6 on KR last season or something like that. STβs play is a big deal.
From your UDFA pool: James Crawford Alex Light, Raven Greene, Tim Boyle all could wind up on roster. Still some time to go so nothing written in stone, and everything could change on Sunday, obviously.

#Packers released center Dillon Day, source said. Hearing their plan is to sign him back to practice squad if he clears waivers.
β Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) September 1, 2018
Been told that #Packers TE Robert Tonyan is likely to make the 53-man roster.
β Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) September 1, 2018
No surprise on Tonyan making it. It's a game of matchups and he's a potential matchup in GB's favor. My memory is hardly photographic but I can't recall him dropping a pass in 11-on-11.

They'll be without a first round pick for two straight years, barring some other acquisition.
Wrong thread there guy. This is for Packer Cuts
Bores know the window to win it all is now before they lose the franchise QB in 3 years.
Anybody remember the QB's name?
Rollins on IR? Did I hear that? Does that mean we actually keep him?
Hereβs the 53-man roster
Official (initial) roster is out. Should change significantly and quickly as the waiver wire gets furiously searched by Gute and crew.
Rollins, Mays, Ryan, Murphy all on IR. With Rip cut, Tonyan may also act as a FB is what Iβm thinking or an H back role. Or may try to trade and get something for Kendricks. Keeping 8 receivers a bit of a shock, but itβs a good group and someone would have been taken on their 53. Weβll see what else happens in the next couple days...
Brian Guteaxe.
The man is not afraid to cut players.
Or keep βem.
Kumerow deserved a spot Iβm happy for him. Also Equanimeous.

Since he took over as the General Manager Gut has just eviscerated Ted's recent draft selections especially that epic 2015 class.
I am stunned he sent Biegel packing. There is no way Biegel would have been cut by Ted in year 2.
I only wish we had someone else at OLB besides Clay, Perry, and Gilbert so that Gut could have done the same to Fackrell.
Surprising roster. I think MM is finally getting the roster he wants, I actually feel confident weβre getting the 53 that earned their roster spot.
That said, I agree with others, I donβt think this is the 53 we see against the Bears. Still moves to be made.
Who the hell is James Crawford?
Meaning, does anyone have a take? I didn't catch all the games but I sure don't remember hearing his name.
If Ted doesnβt sign Gilbert then Fackrell is the backup plan.
Just stop talking for a while champ.
One of the receivers will go when Jones comes back. Cobb will probably be in the backfield a lot until then. Just imagine the 8 wide set.
GBFanForLife posted:One of the receivers will go when Jones comes back.
Granted. But now thereβs flexibility to keep them from going too far (e.g., IR-DTR).

I think theyβre keeping Davis only as trade bait. There will be more changes coming,, as you allude to, and I think Davis will be saying βBuh-byeβ

Obviously our secret weapon.
