Waited over 24 hours to soak in all the Queen distress over the loss and have come to the conclusion that the best part of the Pack's win is ...

Not that Zim's heralded and legitimately top notch defense came out flat like it has so often in big contests and did not right itself until it was 21-0 good guys, and ...

it is not that Bailey missed a FG and had an extra point blocked bringing back all those painful memories of missed kicks from years past for the Queens' faithful, ...

no the best part of the victory is that deep down every fan of the Queens from the radio announcer to the rubechat faithful know beyond all reasonable doubt that no matter how well Cook runs, no matter how well the WRs catch the ball, no matter how well the offensive line blocks, and no matter how well the defense plays, in the end Kirk Cousins will not get them to Minnesota's first Super Bowl in over 4 decades.

Resignation has set in among the occupants of the land of 10,000 frozen puddles that they bought themselves an $84,000,000 white elephant and he, or at least his contract, cannot be dumped until after the 2020 season.

The discussion in purple-land will soon turn to whether Spielman or Zim can or should survive while the talented D ages and begins to leave for $greener pastures.

Sunday's win by the Pack truly was delicious.

Sniff! A thing of beauty, SteveLuke!

I know this is the 'vikings suck' thread, but here is a rather sad story about Super Bowl IV losing quarterback Joe Kapp, and his struggles with Alzheimers.

They are going to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of a Super Bowl losing team. When that's all you have, I guess you do what you have to do.........

Half of today's viking fans do not even know who Joe Kapp was. Remembering their Super Bowl losses is just too much to bear for vikings fans-- and those losses are all they have.

Everything the Vikings - and their fans - do is inflated.  For instance, they call themselves the "Land of 10000 Lakes".  They can only say that because they have 9000 people filling up swimming pools.  So not only is the number inflated, the swimming pools are too.  Just like the inflated pre-season boasts about winning the SB.

Wow I guess when that is all you have you celebrate LOSING you hang on to that.  I get them introducing many of their former great players but to introduce Jerry Burns?

I started googling Vikings playoff chokes and there are just too many links to post here.  But what you will find is a bunch of things that makes this Spermhead hater happy.  Super Bowl losses, kicks that went just wide, Favre INT, the original hail mary, 22 playoff appearances since their Super Bowl losses all ending in losses, passes dropped in the end zone with a chance to win, on and on and on.

Fact.    Wisconsin has more miles of shoreline than Minnysoda has.

The Vikings of course would find it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to move on from Cousins regardless of how he plays. After all, the team remains on the hook for $29.5 million in guaranteed salary in 2020 after giving Cousins a three-year $84 million contract ahead of the 2018 season.

So, despite Cousins claiming that he won’t be playing quarterback with the Vikings much longer if he continues to play poorly, the Vikings have no choice but to hope the veteran turns things around, and quickly.

The land of 10k lakes moniker isn’t as annoying as the whole “Minnesota Nice” deal.  If you mean, “passive aggressive hyper provincial nice” that’s more like it.

passive aggressive D'bag entitled provincial nice.  Last weekend before the game I told my wife I could spot a Spermhead fan a mile away.   Their fans to me are just like FIBS but from a different state.
