I'm surprised Murphy doesn't have an life-size "end zone" replica that tours Wisconsin and the country that folks and kids can leap in. It would 'visit' all the towns where we play on the road, would be a hit, and give all those kids waiting at TC for the bike rides something to do, before and after.
For a nominal charge, naturally....

NFL consults Vikings on how to pump in fake crowd noise for games with no fans.

This brings back memories of the days when the vikings played in the Hump Dome. I'm wondering if the NFL consulted the vikings on how to get opposing teams' fans to buy tickets for the next home team's  at home game to make up for lost revenue and to fill those empty seats, so the game could be televised? Back then, the vikings were the pandemic that kept their so called fans away.

In his three years playing, he has played in a total of 29 games and last year had four fumbles as well. He's comparing his $1.3 million to Cousins' $30 million and listening to Zimmer's "we want to be a running team." While Cook may have an argument, he's not arguing from a position of power. Management has him on this one.

The thing is, the vikings suck...

As we roll towards a new season ( hopefully) , its always instructive to take a look back at the previous season for hints about how the next one will play out
The Mighty Green Bay Packers and the vikingsuck play a very similar schedule, including each other 2x

Note the massive difference between a winning franchise and the vikingsuck

Scroll down and:

Look at their anemic record vs Top 10 teams
Check out their lame record vs Top 16 teams

And then look at the Packers record vs that same Top competition

clearly the vikingsuck

In terms of production it’s obvious Cook is vastly underpaid but that’s the contract he signed.  Aaron Jones is in the same boat.

The lifespan of running backs isn’t great but in the end that’s the position they chose to play.

I think one of our " Friends" made a comment after that article!

Minnesota is the envy of the league with all that talent. While I’d hate to see the best running back in the league (sorry Cowboy fans – lol) go, they will do fine if he doesn’t play. With the talent they have at qb, wr and with the playmakers they picked up in the draft, who will no doubt make an immediate impact, they’re set on offense even without him. And the d will still be the best of the best. Getting Cook back would just be the “icing on the cake”.

Sounds like someone squeezed out a load of 'icing' in the comment section.

Cook is realizing he is playing for the vikings. He wants to get his share of the money before he gets injured, again. I love this as Spielman had just restructured players salaries to come under the cap just prior to the draft and FA. Did the vikings draft any RBs? If not, they may have to pay Cook and do more restructuring of other players contracts. Yes folks, the vikings do suck!

Exceptional RBs who do not hold out during their rookie contracts are just fools.

yup, and the owners figgered that part out and changed the holdout rules in the new cba.
Fines are increased and if they don't report to TC on time, they lose a year of service towards Free Agency. In Cooks case, if he stays away from TC -  he will be an RFA next year instead of an unrestricted FA. He has very little leverage

The turf they have in the Stapler busted up his knee, before. Waiting to see how his underpaid knees react to that turf, this year.  Personally, I hope Cook finds a way to screw the vikings.

Tragic story.  Jaws squandered his movie fortune on his baby seal habit and later co-starred with Tommy Wiseau in "Super Viking Shark Rider Killer who may also be a Vampire".

Tommy Wiseau, talk about a guy making a career just by producing laughably bad product.
