At least he says he is going to wear a mask because he respects other people. As long as he does that, he can think crazy things (that he thinks it's stupid to wear a mask).

I'm been aware of Cousins since he was in high school. To give you some perspective on his world view, he went to Holland (MI) Christian High School. This is the same high school that produced Betsy DeVos, Erik Prince, Pete Hoekstra, and Bill Huizenga (the latter two are tea party types that have served as US House members).  Holland Christian High School has less than 2% of students that are black or Hispanic. It sits in the middle of the same area where the public high school has 54% of its students that are black or Hispanic. Going to MSU must have been a real eye-opener for Cousins, especially with what's gone on there under D'Antonio.

Because of that, his world view is ultra-evangelical, right-wing, somewhat apocalyptic in nature.  It's part of the reason many of them don't wear masks - they think if they die young it's just part of God's plan (and wealthy people are much less likely to die).  What's left unsaid is that they believe when poor people die from this it's also part of God's plan. I think it's nuts, but as long as he wears a mask and is respectful to other people with different views (which he appears to be), he has the right to believe whatever he wants.

It's no wonder why I despise this guy!

It goes deeper than that, trust me.  100% death cult heretics.

In recent nights I've been enjoying my DVRed version of our last Viking game in Minnesota where we gave them three turnovers in the first half and they did absolutely nothing with it and we eventually spanked them hard...

Packers at Vikings

Kerr: Packers +120. The Packers are +2.5 in this game, but Aaron Rodgers and this team were 6-2 on the road in the regular season in 2019. Included was the first season sweep of the Vikings since 2014. Green Bay's pass rush matches up well with Minnesota's run-first offense, which will have a new wrinkle under Gary Kubiak. This has the makings of a game where Minnesota will be forced to throw the ball 40-plus times to a group of wide receivers that doesn't include Stefon Diggs. Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a lot of pass-catching weapons either, but since when has that stopped him?

That was my first thought as well. Cook has missed a lot of games in the first three years of his NFL career, plus his injury history predates his NFL days.

I'm sure Cook is over his extensive injury history.

OK, I couldn't keep a straight face with that.

Especially playing on that turf in the Stapler! The last major injury Cook had was when he stubbed his toe on that turf and tore up his ACL. Now that he signed a big contract extension, I think the chances of sustaining another injury just increased.

For those of us who foresaw last year that the Queens were mortgaging their future and that the end of their perennial top-end defense was near with all the aging, expensive stalwarts like Griffen, Joseph, Rhodes, Waynes, Alexander, etc. this is just a sweet, sweet culmination of all those win now moves.

And after getting rid of Diggs and keeping the same crappy OLine, it is nice to know that Cousins and the injury prone Cook are the future of the Queens offense.

Fun times in the land of 10,000 puddles.

The Vikings corners really got exposed.  I mean, I know Hughes showed potential but they basically played 3 of 4 CBs today that had no business being out there and you had to think against a saavy QB like Rodgers he would pick them apart - which he did.

Not to mention that OL is still pretty ordinary and I think that’s an 8-8 team this year at best.  They have some decent players but they turned over a lot of that roster in one offseason.

Anyone else notice Zimmer's hands shaking during the game? I thought he was fanning himself with the play sheet, at first.

Yeah, I noticed that and thought "Parkinsons?" I remember he had the eye thing. Being an NFL head coach is not a positive thing for physical health...

My first thought was a 'wtf' at his perpetual tan with glasses outline.
But he did look bad on that sideline shot in 2nd half, almost like he was losing control of his body movements.
I wanted to make a joke about maybe he should be wearing a mask over his bad eye, but actually felt sorry for him.
Must be getting soft in my old age....

He looked like my dad with his own Parkinson's problems. My dads hand shooked so bad he kept his hand in his pocket for a few years to avoid letting anyone know there was a possible problem. May he rest in peace after a long nursing home, then assisted care facility stay. He died 5.5.20.  He was a good man, but at the end he was just breathing, not living. It was time.
