And stunningly it wasn't penalized or fined.... Ridiculous.

And where the League, through it's officials, are supposed to protect the QBs.  Not a flag thrown, nor even a mention of it being a late hit on Rodgers. Of course the vikings' fans who posted here said it was a legal hit. I still want revenge.  I do not want to take Kark out, though. He's too valuable a tool, for GB, when he is on the field.

When it gets really dark in Packer land and we come to the end of another season (or to the realization that the season will end short of where we'd like it to), there is always comfort to be gained from looking at the state of the Purple.

After yesterday's glorious 31-28 home loss to the 2-7 Cowboys (who had lost 4 in a row and scored 10, 3, 9, and 19 in those Ls) the Queens are now 4-6 and currently hold the 13th pick in the draft.

With home games upcoming against the Panthers and Jags that should be Ws, followed by road games at TB and NO that should be Ls, and then what are likely to be two more Ws against their even more pathetic NFC North foes the Lions and Bears, the Queens should finish right at 8-8.

That will leave them with about the 18th pick in the draft to find Cousins' replacement in round 1 and, without a 2nd round pick as a result of the Ngokoue trade, mean that they will not be adding much to next season's roster at the top of the 2021 draft.

And as Harrison Smith gets older, Anthony Harris leaves in free agency, and Hunter demands to be the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL, it will be time to re-build the defense and begin the Queens merry-go-round of mediocrity once again.

Fun times in the land of 10,000 puddles.

They're preparing their roster for the expected reduction of the salary cap...

Jefferson is a better Diggs because he doesn't complain -- yet. And Jefferson is playing like a six-year vet. Guy can play. Hunter won't be the highest paid DL; he has a neck problem. We all know how that can affect a career. Even if he comes back healthy, no one will know that for a year or so until he can play. He'll most likely take a one-year prove-it deal so he can (hopefully) show he's healthy and score a big contract the next year.

To be fair, Cousins has almost looked like a QB in the past couple of games. Hate to say it, but his game vs GB gave him some confidence. He had it shaken a bit in the last game vs Carolina, but he then saved the game at the end. They have him throwing faster and shorter (read that as not having to read defenses and face a rush) and it's helped his game.

I can't imagine Bailey having a job after tomorrow.

THANK YOU MASON CROSBY!!

Not only did he drill a 58 yarder for a 10 pt lead....he saved a TD on the return.

They just need to kick the ball out of the endzone every fucking time from now on.

I'm more pissed at the Special Teams than the defense now.

Fuck the Vikings -- they stole our WR (Justin Jefferson)

Crosby kicked the ball 5 yards deep into the end zone as it was.

A touchback gives them the ball at the 25, but there is a risk of a long return against our special teams even with a return from deep in the end zone.

A squib kick probably gets them to the 35 or 40 yard line (gives up 10-15 yards), but no risk of a long return.

An onside kick gives them the ball at midfield (gives up 25 yards) with no risk of any return.

At some point you just have to squib it.
