Had to save to save this article from the Star Tribune following the draft.  Had a feeling I’d be laughing hard in December.

I read that at the time and laughed, though I did think they had a good draft. We'll see in a few years...

Their 1-5 start really did them in, and then their kicker sealed the deal last weekend, although they still would have been a couple points short against TB. Cousins has been sacked 10 times in the past two games alone, and resorted to screaming at his linemen against TB.

Hoping the Queens win Sunday (effectively ending the Bears season & rendering their week 17 tilt against the Pack meaningless).

Then they' can lose on Christmas in New Orleans and win in Detroit to finish with a quintessentially Queen-like 8-8 final record.

This is not a thing for the Bears.  Just as it isn't for the Vikes. Those two teams will always play tough against the Packers regardless of their records.  They may not play well, but they won't lay down.

They had a "good" draft, but they were victims of the virus, too. They couldn't get all their new players on the field for a practice, let alone a game, due to Covid concerns. They drafted, like 15 rookies, and had no way to see who would pan out and which ones they'd keep and which vets were expendable or replaceable with these rookies. All in all, the vikings' defense took a hit and the O Line did not improve. Now they are outside, looking in, at a play off spot. Good luck with that, Spielman! It took two years for Zimmer and Co. to figure out that Kark has to hand the ball off to Cook, a lot, to avoid Kark throwing an INT or getting sacked. Kark's numbers improved, this year, I think, due to the vikes using Cook more often.

Handing off to Cook helped Kark a lot, but Cook has taken a beating. Also, they only let Kark throw three or four times more than 15 yards down the field. Gotta say, though that Jefferson is the real deal.

Yeah, Jefferson is a stud. Fun kid to watch too - at least for 14 games per year.

Says a lot about your franchise QB that cost $40 million this year that you need to limit what he's allowed to do so you don't reduce your chances of winning.

I wonder if the purple ftw guy is still saying the vikes are looking to get rid of Kark, this off season? vikings sports guys kill me! zero wins in the big game, zero tradition to fall back on(because that's in the past!). Losers.... and they cannot even get to hear us say that their team sucks, because that moniker belongs to da bears. Pathetic organization and the most fair-weather fan base in the NFL, winning only the off season championships.

That idiot pivoted from trading/cutting to Kirk to near guarantee of some huge winning streak by the Vikings and then a trade for Deshaun Watson.

Don't know what kind of mouth breather subscribes to shit like this but there's plenty of Viking fans that would fit the criteria. I bet Jaymo watches them within minutes of getting posted.

Jefferson just spoke out loud what every WR who has played with Kark has thought or said. Thielen was able to keep it to the sidelines last year; Jefferson is just too good to waste on that team.

Fran Tarkenton sees his name trending on Twitter

Tomorrow the Queens will likely lose to the Saints and thus end all hopes for their first Super Bowl win in franchise history.

In the unlikely event that the Queens prevail, they will be doing the Packers a nice favor by handing New Orleans its 5th loss ... and only delay their own elimination from the playoffs for a couple of days.

Either way, a nice Christmas gift awaits Packer fans tomorrow.

Cheers.

Just wait until Love becomes the third in a long line of Packer NFL HOF QBs - and they wake up and realize they passed on him twice.  Can't wait for that discussion.

Passed twice on a HOF QB? They’ve never done that before, have they?
