I was listening to the replay of Late Hits driving to work this morning. This assclown from Vancouver calls in. He's a Viking fan and he's all giddy.  The Packers and Bares suck. The Vikings are so much better they will have no problem winning the division.  The hosts are laughing at this guy as he's drooling all over himself. I'm thinking, no way this guy is that stupid unless Jaymo lives in Vancouver.

So a game weekend question.  My wife is not from Wisconsin and I want to introduce her to Old Fashions and a good old Wisconsin Supper Club.  Any suggestions in Green Bay for that?  And of course suggestions for bars near  Lambeau?  The closer to a Wisconsin corner tavern the better.

Club Chalet on Nicolet street for the Supper Club.

Might be a dumb question but what's a supper club and how is it different from a regular restaurant?  Not familiar with that term.

Pickled watermelon rind.

Toad legs from the back 40.

Also look for the deer head and the fish mounted on the walls.

October 24 2010. Lambeau Field. Brett Favre throws a game winning TD to Percy Harvin with just over a minute remaining and the Viking fans all around us ask to thank Ted. Again.

Stadium video replay shows Harvins foot land out of the end zone............

Lambeau shook for 5 minutes. I'm not kidding. I've never heard Lambeau louder than that 5 minutes. Favre's final pass at Lambeau was a give up floater out of the end zone and that was that.

My very first game at Lambeau was a playoff loss against Minny. In between my last game in 2013 was probably every Viking game. Even if I didn't have a seat I was there. I was there when Al Harris folded AP's leg like a poorly constructed Ikea chair in a shutout loss.

I totally get the hatred and history with Chicago. For good reason. It's historical and someone could make an incredible HBO doc about it. It's Yankees Red Sox historical rivalry stuff.

The 2010 NFC Title Game at Soldier Field is generational bragging rights for Packer fans that is right there with the Ice Bowl. Bear fans will forever not want to talk about GB hoisting the Halas trophy on Soldier Field so they could go chase a Lombardi Trophy which they eventually did.

But that October 24 game in 2010 was the kickstart to that NFC title game. A few weeks later Childress was fired. A few weeks after that Favre told Peppers to go beat the Packers. As a Viking. To a Bears player.

In 40 years of attending NFL games I've never met a group of non entitled ****s like Viking fans. Their team played in 4 Super Bowls over 40 years ago and never led 1 of those games for a minute. They had a chance to be the first HOME team to play in a SB and shit the bed. They can't find the only trophy they've ever received. It's lost forever.

I want GB to beat the ever loving shit out of Minny this week. I hate the Vikings. I'll always hate the Vikings.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the queens and curt play much better at home and not so good on the road? I like our chances at home and hope curt gives us a few turnovers. While it would be nice if Chili gets his wish, I'd settle for a win no matter how achieved.

I remember this like it was yesterday and I will never forgive Favre for it. The overrated POS interception machine drama queen. He will always be a Viking to me. F him!

I still can't overstate how huge it was to GO to Chicago and defense the life out of them. My takeaway on offense was how tough GB is to defend when Rodgers in under center with Vitale and Jones in the backfield.

MLF gave Zimmer some film to study. Which might not be relevant.

And I hate the Vikings.

I too love that backfield, as I'm certain some game soon we'll see a lot of passes to that fullback after play action fakes that will be quite productive.

Wait for it.

Favre threw a terrible pick to Desmond Bishop on October 24 2010 that Childress used to dress down Favre after the game. Favre made sure that was it for Childress.

I'm guessing every beer ordered in 2010 in GB was a Porter. I did. In the words of Brett Favre. "Real Packer fans would understand"

Vikings OL was terrible against ATL, I definitely think they’re going to pressure Cousins into several mistakes. I expect Raven will see a lot of time again this week spying Cook. Limit that running game and it will force Cousins to win the game and that’s a recipe for disaster.

The Vikings want to (1) play good defense (2) create turnovers (3) run the ball (4) make a couple of big plays through the air with their excellent receivers and (5) limit Cousins' impact on the game.

I expect (1) the Vikings will play good defense but I also expect (2) the Packers will limit their turnovers unlike the Falcons yesterday.

The keys to me are not permitting Cook and the running game to get going, making sure their WRs get theirs but do not go off, and forcing Cousins to win the game. I have hope that our new defense can accomplish all of the above.

I also think think, at home, Rodgers and the offense can put up 20 or more points.

Packers 20 - Vikings something <20.

In addition to making a ton of mental mistakes, the Falcons have some position groups that are poor ( DBs / O-line). Some interesting match-ups this week. We can get pressure if we force Vikes into pass downs. However, can we stop their running game to get them into passing situations?

I hate everything about the vikings. I dont remember when it started but it really blossomed when denny green became their head coach and went into full time hate mode when Childress took over.  Favre going there took it to pure loathing mode.  Nothing can fix that.

ATL was like 26th against the run last season. One of the worst run defenses in the league. And although they are more healthy then last year, they didn’t do a ton to improve that area.

And on Sunday, it showed.

I dislike the Bears a lot but I respect their franchise (but hate their fans big time) but my dislike has always been reserved for the Spermheads.

My white hot heat of the sun hatred of the Vikings started in the 70s and it has grown ever since.  Having a big family where half of them live in the Twin cities and I had to hear how great they were in the 70s and how bad the Packers were. Every year at Christmas I wore the jersey of the team that had beaten the Vikings in the playoffs.   If we got together to this day I would still do that.

And don't get me starte on that stupid freaking horn and the SKOL chant.

S-still

K - keep

O - on

L - losing

The key to stopping Cook is taking out "Hook and Hold" Rudolph...take care of that putz, you take away the edge.

Cover Rudolph, underneath the coverage, when he makes an initial hook and hold then breaks upfield. It's the queens' bread and butter play for Rudolph. Something tells me the Angry Bald Man will have something special planned for Cook and Kark.

We don't have Edge players who can be neutralized by TE anymore, Rudolph will be a non-factor.

Speaking of former edge players, it was nice to see CM3 have success against Carolina. He looked good, but his bad habits from GB were still occurring...he was constantly guessing wrong and being taken out of the play or giving up edge containment to make a big play.

Hate is a strong word.  The one word I think of is annoying.  Vikings fans are annoying.  Why?  They obsess about the Packers and think we care about them.  Guess what?  We don’t.

Having lived in the TWC for 10+ years gave me an appreciation for how misguided and jealous and obnoxious that fan base could be toward the Packers.

The real Vikings fans I knew actually had a thick skin due to all of the letdowns and disappointments.   You could spot the wannabee shit talkers from a mile away.  They were usually some roided up loser wearing a Favre jersey that lived in Anoka and drove their 87 IROC Z to the game.

Yet they were the first ones that headed for the exits and ditched their purple gear on the streets downtown after yet another meltdown.

Now those same idiots make their way to Lambeau and walk around and act like they own the place.   F to the that.   I hope the Packers win and I hope they bury those ****ers so they have a nice and enjoyable drive home on 29 west.

Vajeens have never won anything of consequence. They have a history of d-bag head coaches (Jerry Boo-urns, Denny "HR Nightmare" Green, Meathead Tice, Chilly, Leslie "Winston Moss 2.0" Frazier and Cap'n One-Eye) and even bigger list of d-bag players (Moss, Culpuker, Coke Boy Cris, ad nauseum).

And yet, their fans act as if they've won multiple championships.

I will stick with hate but also use annoying, as does loath, abhore, aversion, repugnance, detest, and repulsion.

Their fans have a terrible case of verbal diarrhea for a team that hasn't been to the Super Bowl since Gerald freaking Ford was president.

The Vikings didn't really bother me until the Herschel Walker trade. That's when the loathing started. Those A-Holes basically gift wrapped Emmitt Smith to the Cokeboys (instead of Green Bay) along with 3 Super Bowl's.

The Favre thing (which was 100% tampering) cemented it.

F*** the Vikings from here to eternity.
