Game wasn't on tv here, and I was at church quit a while today, so I missed the drama. But that helps me understand. There have been too many of those games this year where we could have dominated and closed out the game early but did not.

I just hope the team is hearing the Mike Holmgren mantra of, "yes, we're NFC north champs, BUT WE'RE NOT DONE YET!"
We win the division again. Even though we are 3 more losses than last year I feel like this team is starting to play together. The defense and a hint of a running game are things I didn't see late season 2011. Keep the momentum building in those areas along with improving health and this will be very interesting.

Why so quiet here? Come on, we did it! NFC North champions! Let's hear it!

Because the playoffs loom and the oline is the same. Love this team because of all the injuries. **** Campen and **** Crosby.
Struggle to dominate average teams. I think we could beat anyone on a great day and lose to anyone on a bad day. Good team, especially considering the injuries, but not a team that will make a deep playoff run IMO.

Outside of the Texans game there was no domination. I give full credit to the depth/coaching of this team to get to 10-4. That is incredibly impressive. That doesn't short the fact that the oline/oline depth sucks serious balls. I look forward to EDS getting destroyed again. Love the guts on Barclay, EDS sucks.

Let me add how impressive Sammy Shield is. That kid came off a sophomore slump/injury and is absolutely looking like Chuck 2. Joe Whitt should be promoted to DC if there is a danger of losing him.

Ok noted. Who is a Super Bowl team then?

The Niners? Patriots? Falcons? Texans? Giants? Cowboys? Broncos? Ravens? Steelers? Bengals? Saints? Seahawks?

The Packers can beat any & all of them.

If the overrated Giants can win a Super Bowl last year, then this years Packer team certainly can.
You mean the over rated Giants who destroyed and embarrassed us the last 2 times we played them? I'm not looking to argue, but yes I think the Niners and Falcons are much better at this point and the Patriots and Broncos as well
No, the overrated Giants who just got embarrassed by the Falcons 34-0.

The Packers are a different team with Clay Matthews there. I'm not sure you realize how much better they are when he's playing.

They can beat any one. Especially the Patriots and Broncos. Did you not watch tonight's game? The NFC is on a different level. It's been that way for 2 years now.

Do you ever have anything positive to say? I will say something positive to maybe steer you in the right direction. The Packers are NFC North champs. Shut up and enjoy it.
SALUTE! to the 2012 NFC North Champs. Thanks!
I'll be working the broom until the queens are once again defeated - two straight years of sweeping the division would be EXTRAORDINARY and a feat I will hold in high regard for a long time.

Personally, I want the Pack to stay away from the Giants or 49ers. Avoid those 2 teams and I think they can go on a run. If they face either of them, I don't like their chances. It's not impossible to beat those teams, but those teams definitely have an advantage in the trenches over the Pack that other teams really don't have.
Exactly Oshbaul.

You couldn't ask for a better outcome, winning the division and all but putting the nail in the Bears' coffin.

And final score aside, the outcome was never really in doubt. That's domination enough for me.

I think the only reason for the temperence in celebration is the lingering doubt about the opponent. It is for me anyway. As good as the Pack looked, the Bears seriously suck. Not just in a rival kinda way, I said it 3 weeks ago: that's a bad football team on offense.
At some point, someone in Chicago is going to realize Lovie Smith doesn't know the first damm thing about offense, how to put one together, run it, coach it, anything.

Isn't the stat 27% of all Chicago points scored since he's taken over have come from the defense and special teams? Nevermind all the points the D and special teams gift wrapped for the offense by handing them the ball in prime field position.

Look at how badly he's handled the OL for years. The guy is horribly deficient when it comes to an offense.

Wait a minute, what am I saying... He's doing great. Extension.

Ok, That's my new campaign then....

I want the Giants & 49'ers. Yes they're better in the trenches than us. Yes the Giants beat us the last 2 times but some people conveniently forget the Blacque Jacque Shellacque-ing the Giants took from us in Dec. of 2010.

In 2010 & Jan of 2011 after we defeated the Falcons, I said I wanted the Bears in the NFC Championship game & the Steelers in the Super Bowl.

Wasn't it great?

I want the Giants & 49'ers!! Who's with me?
in 2010. I remember having little concern about the Falcons or the Steelers. Probably most nervous with the Eagles game. After the Falcons game you knew the Bears had little chance.

I think the 2010 team was playing better at this point than this team is. But this team has a possible run written all over them.

I want Seattle over anyone else. After that let's line up and see what happens.
Will take any and all comers. Don't care who. Gotta beat whoever ends up on the ticket to take the whole thing. Might as well beat the best to be the best.
FORWARD!... with a vengeance.
I just want what I saw yesterday from the defense in the second half, that's the Packer team I know and love, no quit, play hard and leave it on the field. If the offense can continue that stretch they had around half time win or lose I'll be satsified because they played with passion!!
