I thought the thread title was possibly a unintended double entendre.
SF is still paying a price for picking Smith over Rodgers, and the Rodgers-to-Denver rumor was indeed quite hot, no matter how unlikely it may have been.

I suppose it's just coincidence, but there seems to be a trend of QBs recently signed to mega-million contracts that are flaming out much more than producing anything of substance.
We saw 2 of them tonight.

It would be interesting to see someone do some deep-dive data on pro players' output and their salaries. You'd have a lot of variables, but it would be interesting.
I think Hackett needs to thank LaFluer for this gig. He clearly wasn't ready for it. As an OC I think you should have some success calling plays yourself before you get a HC gig.
