Adderall and Ritalin are amphetamine based stimulants widely abused by college students to cram for exams and also as a recreational drug. Other athletes have been called on it, too, as a PED. I'm guessing if you're amped up on it, it would definitely be a PED for working out, like Ephedra was. You could work out like a demon on Ephedra and not get tired. (I know because I did it.)

Narcolepsy, I'm sure that's what he told the doctor, and I'm sure the doc gave him the Px he wanted. Wink

Heck I don't know, maybe he really does have Narcolepsy or ADHD. Either way, the suspension is over. He should have just left it alone, IMO.

Do you believe the Adderall story Satori?

I'm very skeptical of Neal's story for several reasons. The players and their agents are absolutely pounded with info about how they have to clear EVERYTHING through the NFL - claiming ignorance is fine if you're a viking but for the rest of the players with brains- its total BS. They have a process in place to clear valid prescriptions and he ignored it. That's on him and either he's a complete idot or he is fabricating portions of his story

Also as you noted, if Neal's story were true - the league has reduced the sentences of some players in similar cases- but they didn't in the case of Mike Neal and that's fairly telling.
