M-Joe nailed it.

Rodgers used to be happy (not bored) making the easy throw. Just like Brady. See 2011 if you don't believe me.

P-Hawk, that post, coming from you especially, is hilarious. 😁😂

Think it's probably just a difference in how both play the position. Brady seems more inclined to take what the defense is giving him while AR tends to look for the bigger play.

Nailed it. Rodgers could do everything Brady is doing and more, but he chooses to not play that way. It's hard to criticize the guys results, he's a fukking legend, but its frustrating to see the team get down early or the offense sputter early simply because he's looking for the homerun. We saw glimpses of the legendary 2011 offense against CHI and MIN, getting the ball to skill players and letting them do their work. We saw what Cobb, Adams, and Allison can all do with the ball in their hands, they're excellent.

The short passing game will accomplish the same thing. To me it's not about running the ball or passing the ball, it's how much are you utilizing your skill players. Those bubble screens that never work are essentially just running plays that are meant to force the D to play closer to the line...they're just getting the ball to the perimeter faster than you would with a toss or a sweep. Based on how Jones can break tackles, I'd like to see him on the receiving end of those bubble screens.

Did you see how one team yesterday faked a bubble screen and threw it for a TD?

You could see Rodgers actually get better at taking what defenses give him as he gets older. He won't be able to dance around and get away with it, and arm strength will slowly dwindle. That's when we might actually see him go back to 2011 form.
