There is no comp to Sharpe although if he played today he might be like Deebo Samuel.
At 6’ 210 (maybe?) Sharpe was a beast. He could run by you or run over you.

Tirico is really off his game today. Got the teams mixed up on a 1st down call, had to correct himself on TD saving tackle and just said 3rd and goal when it was 3rd and 8. He is as bad as Boger.
He's Italian, so he struggles with English as well.
Burrows is going to be a good one. That was a hell of a pass.
If he can stay healthy Burrow will be the next great QB. Dude has so much talent and moxie and poise.
Herbert was even better last Sunday.

Hebert does not have the poise of Burrow at least not yet. He and the guy in Buffalo have bigger arms but both have a tendency to get skittish.
How did this officiating crew get a Playoff game assignment? They blew the play dead, but then he called a touchdown.
He should not be assigned to any NFL games, ever.

"when an official sounds his whistle erroneously while the ball is still in play, the ball becomes dead immediately ..."
"(3) If the ball is a loose ball resulting from a legal forward pass, a free kick, a fair-catch kick, or a scrimmage kick, the ball is returned to the previous spot, and the down is replayed."
@Number Three.You think maybe the N.F.L. has a different standard for Boger?

The side judge thought he was out of bounds before he threw, but Boger came in and said nope that’s a touchdown because guy with ball threw ball to other guy on team who caught ball in end zone so I call touchdown please don’t blow whistle anymore I call touchdown this fun football good they pay me for this.
The league will send a nice letter of apology.

I have not liked Bogers crew this year. I hope that we don’t draw him. Of course they mix them up for the playoffs but any crew he is head of doesn’t look good.
I thought only captains or head coach can call time out. Guess i was rong.
This level of competence assures Boger of calling the Super Bowl.
Hi New York it’s Boger I need help again I think guy called timeout but we didn’t blow play dead because I told side judge to stop blowing whistle because it distracting me from giving touchdown signal which is really fun! I can get my arms up so big. But anyway guy threw ball to other guy on same team again and he caught it for big gain but I don’t know if timeout was first can you check please and let me know thank you
Hi New York it’s Boger again and I need your help again. A guy dropped the ball but it was really far down the field so I like spotting the ball there and said he caught it. Now the coach is really mad at me and threw something at me and keeps yelling at me that the guy didn’t catch ball. Can you handle this for me I’m really scared he might try to hit me and everyone is booing me right now and I don’t feel safe thank you
Per Tirico, league will address the touchdown/whistle play after the game.
God, I despise the very fiber of Roger Goodell et al.
They could have a competent ref calling this game...instead they chose diversity.
On paper, Boger has the time and experience to have earned his position.
But when they blow a call like the TD pass, NY should step in as opposed to just letting it play out. And, of course, note that in the post-game review.
