That's because the UW team is really large. Significantly larger than Duke's. Unfortunately, Duke shoots better than Kentucky. Gasser is the key defensively against Duke. Dude is a straight baller.

You both are lucky getting time off I tried but the boss said no because I have an 730am meeting. It will be all good though if Bucky gets it done!

Anyhow, I am so jacked up for this game I can't stand it.  I have seen my favorite football team win 2 super bowls (only a baby when they won the first 2) and I have been waiting since 1982 for another one of my teams to get this far.

I'm in the same boat. Almost went down to Indy, but the 4.5 hour drive is just too much to try to come back after midnight for an 8:30 AM meeting.

No matter what happens tonight, this has been the best sports team to follow in my life. It's even better than the Packers in my opinion since a huge portion of this team is home grown. A bunch of guys, four of which that get minutes every game are from Wisconsin, and a coach that all paid their dues in one way or another. This is way better than rooting for one and dones. Win or lose tonight, these guys will all be fixtures in Madison for the rest of their lives and have spent years, not months, on campus.

I'm 45 years old. Shown below is the Wisconsin basketball that I grew up listening to Jim Irwin call on the radio. I remember being excited when they got to play in the NIT.

By the way these teams mirror each other, it should go to OT and come down to who has the ball last.

They both play great defense, both shoot free throws well, both don't foul much, and both don't turn the ball over.

The dribble penetration by Cook, Jones and Winslow, I think, will be the key to the game tonight. One of them drives and either gets fouled or kicks it out to the open shooters and Bucky is in trouble.

Lets hope the zebras don't get whistle happy early and get Kaminsky or Dekker or Hayes in foul trouble and make it a one-sided game.

Go Bucky.

I agree with most of what you are saying Tuna but Duke is not in the same class defensively as Arizona or Kentucky.   That's not to say they don't present challenges, but the two previous opponents might go down as two of the best ever when you consider points allowed, shooting percentage, and overall defensive efficiency.

Wisconsin is in a zone right now and their confident be is sky high and personally i think Duke is in for a long night  unless the refs call a bunch of fouls.   I just hope I don't gag on the CBS Coach K Dookie lovefest
