Slow start...Frank needs to finish around the bucket.
A couple of stops would be nice..
Bucky getting their asses handed to them in the first half. Mich State can't miss (some of that is on Bucky, Dekker and Trae with some weak first half defense). Bucky back ironed a lot of shots, plus those misses in the paint.
Pretty sure they have to play two halves. State is in more foul trouble, have to see how that plays out.
This MSUs third game in 3 days. Let's see where their legs are in the 2nd half. If shots are short you know they are running out of gas and a Badger comeback is possible. I'd also rather get this clunker out of the way before the NCAA. 2 seed in Milwaukee is better than a 1 seed anyway IMHO.
So what's a Badger loss mean?? Anything?? I mean as far as a seed in the NCAA tournament. and dang they look pretty sad today. Sheesh...
A loss means nothing....an embarrassing ass whipping coupled with the bad effort at Lincoln last week means that Bucky is not hitting on all cylinders.
still time tho to turn it around and pull this one out or at least make it a game. Confidence will mean a lot next week.
I feel ya....they are freakin good tho. Lots of good, big, quick players. They are healthy, will get a good seed and will be dangerous next week
It's Tourney time, Izzo owns Bo,
Izzo comes alive this time of year...tru dat! But Appling is healthy and brings some swagger back to the Fartans.
We didn't match their initial intensity and were caught flat-footed. That and MSU couldn't miss in the first half.
Our hope is that we learn from it and use it as motivation to get to the Final Four.
MSU shot 71% in the 1st half, Badgers shot 28%. Any wonder the Badgers were that far behind? Made a nice comeback, never say die. Plus and extra day of rest and less chance of injuries before the NCAA.
State was better, Bucky played better in the second half, but still couldn't stop sparty from making shots.
Payne is a man.
2 seed. The selection committee doesn't piss their pants over a bad first half,
I see some of the sites have Michigan State as a 4 seed. That's pretty damn scary if you are a team that has to play them.
UW didn't play very well but I don't think losing to the Spartans will change their seeding. They won one of their conference tournament games handily and losing to MSU isn't some kind of letdown.
I still think a 2 in Milwaukee is the best way to go
