Bucks put up an NBA record 88 points in the first half. 88.

88!

MIddleton with 28-7-3 points in 16 minutes

Bledsoe with 22-5-6 in 13 minutes

If Beal wasn't shooting 14 for 15 from the line they'd be up by 40

Correction: Bucks franchise record

Why are they so weak coming out of the half? They build up these ridiculous leads, and then they just nance around in the third. Stop screwing around, Bucks. That 30 point lead is down to 13. Finish them, ffs!

Not a very good defensive effort tonight. Lost among all the eye popping offensive numbers is that Washington has 104 through 3. Free throws or not, we need to play better D. Giannis is out, but the team we’re facing is nothing.

LOL, down to 10. Pathetic. Once again, they punch a team in the mouth, and go sleepy time in the second half.

You were up by 32 freaking points. How is this even a game with 7 minutes left, Milwaukee? Maybe you might want to put the ducking pedal down again, hmm? What do ya think?

Giving up 60 points in the first 18 minutes of the second half will make a game close.

This team has no killer instinct. None. They don’t know how to put their foot on an opponent’s throat, and finish them. A game is 4 quarters. They have these big first halves all the time, and decide to kick their feet up and relax after the break, thinking that everybody is going to bow down before the mighty Bucks.

They are 40-6 right now. All NBA teams have this problem. Half the guys in the league were guys that put up 50 in game in high school. A lot of guys can score quickly

I know they’re 40-6. These same guys that were down by 32 didn’t suddenly say, “hey, we’re still in this”. The Bucks let up against a vastly inferior team, and let a 32 point lead get back down to double digits. It’s about keeping up their intensity for 4 quarters. This happens far too often.

There's a couple of things at play.  First, I heard on tonite's broadcast that the Bucks currently have the greatest point differential in their wins in NBA history  so the truth is, they are putting people away.

Now, I actually agree with you that they do seem to have some spurts in every game where they let up, but I think with their "let it fly" style of play, they can give up some runs when they go cold from behind the arc.  That said, the results they are getting right now are historically good so maybe this style is just what they need.

The wild swings are as much a product of the modern NBA as anything. No lead is safe. The 3 point shot has truly changed the game. Don’t forget, the Bucks built their lead on torrid first half shooting. They hit 14 first half threes ffs, scored 88 points. It shouldn’t be anyone’s expectation that they sustain that.

The Bucks also play at a breakneck pace. Remember the Suns 7 seconds or less offense? Well, the Bucks are playing a faster pace than them. So a 20 point lead is only 10 possessions or so, and with their pace that’s only a couple minutes. Look at the final- 6 point game with 3 minutes left- they won by 20. 15-3 down the stretch. Boom... blowout.

My advice is expect the ebb with the flow.
