Good win. Would mean more if Lowry played, but that's 2 solid hone court wins. Need to start a "Free Spencer Hawes" campaign...
Did they grow a heart? Brogdon and Middleton can be great duo in the backcourt.
Well, if they get contributions from their bench like tonight, and defend like they have this weekend, they're a team that can actually realize what we all thought they could do... but one blip won't erase the s as in full of inconsistencies and disappointments.
Toronto is a decent team but not surprising given how this team has played against better competition.
Love seeing Middleton come back and play so strong. The guy does so many things well and looks to have fully recovered.
Bucks roll the Sixers tonight... they continue to commit on the defensive end and Tony Snell was hot from deep (5-7, Bucks were 14/33 as a team).
20 games to go, 4.5 out of the 5th seed, 2.5 out of the 6th. Knicks and Pacers at home this week- then a 6 game Western swing that will probably decide the season.
If they're going to get hot and have it mean something, now's the time...
Has a 2nd round pick ever won Rookie of the Year ??!! Dude is good !!!
It's like the Bucks recently decided that the games, and especially defense, are suddenly important. Playing with effort on both ends lately.
Bucks playing defense more reminiscent of when they were losing games... and apparently Carmelo can jump sideways into a stationary defender and get fouls.
6-7 minutes layups... wtf is wrong with this team?????? So fuc*ing frustrating.
Great run to finish the 3rd... 9-0 run and a 3 point lead. Middleton all over Carmelo, making him work.
Giannis.... wow.
Pretty awesome second half- 3rd quarter started out horribly, but they flashed and broke out of it when Monroe came back. Defensively they gave up 40 in the second half, and Giannis scored 20 in the second half to finish with 32.
Matchup with the Pacers on Friday, back to back with the Timberwolves... then 6 out west. This is the key stretch, and they're playing their best ball.
You know, I like Parker a LOT but Middleton is a better overall player. This is a better team as well.
Yeah, proof is definitely in the pudding. They have been playing at higher level on this streak.
So R E L A X during games please. :-)
Can't... been waiting a long time for this.
And I know they can hear me, so...
it has been awhile since we have had something to cheer about. I get yelled at a lot for yelling at the TV as well during games. οΏ½οΏ½
Bucks putting on a *gulp* defensive display in the second half again. Turnovers have kept Indiana in the game, but with 5:03 to go they've given up 28 points and have an 8 point lead.
Damn... 35 points given up in the second half, and a dominating win. They're now the 8th seed with the Bulls getting curb stomped by Houston. 5 straight... keep this thing going!!!!!!
Now in the 8 seed.
Coaching goes a long way....so glad we signed Jason Terry
Definitely an unsung hero...
The Bucks are only 1 1/2 out of the 6 slot but the Wolves are playing really well and historically they have owned Milwaukee. Need to keep up momentum
Pretty good first half- Bucks missed some opportunities, a few good looks and layups. Monroe gets a breakaway and blows the layup.
But tied at the half. Good battle... need to figure out a way to slow down Towns.
Bucks up one after 3. This one is coming down to execution in the final minute...
Not executing down the stretch offensively- defense starting to show cracks with Giannis in foul trouble.
Boy, MN has had a lot of good looks in the final 2 minutes, but the Bucks have held. They hold another opponent under 100 and win #6. This was a real dog fight.
Solid win against another young and up and coming team that's been playing well recently.
Keep it rolling Bucks
Well, there goes the streak... played like a tired team tonight. Another 60 point half, another loss.
Vince Carter with a Laettner performance- 24 points, didn't miss a shot or a FT.
Bucks can't throw it in the ocean tonight...
No shortage of quality looks- they just aren't making enough. 4 point lead and 4 of 5 starters on the sideline into the final 5 minutes.
The officiating is f'n terrible... Griffin gets breathed on and goes to the line. Giannis gets his 4th foul because Griffin grabs his arm and goes to the ground. Gd ridiculous...
Fuc*ing Monroe... leave Deandre Jordan alone under the basket 3 times in the final 2 minutse... 7 points when they had a 6 point lead.
Up 1 with :30 to go... get a basket and you get the win.
Wow... Griffin misses a contested shot in the paint... big damn win!
Good to see them hang on for a close win against a decent team. They have lost a number of close ones just like this.
Bucks are now in the 7 slot and 1 1/2 games from the 6 slot. Keep it up
Now they just need to take care of business with a team they should beat easily (Lakers).
Not happy that they gave away the lead, but they're 2-1 on the trip after beating the Lakers.
Little scuffle escalated quickly- Brogdon with a good foul that Russell too exception to- and honestly, Russell don't be such a b*tch. It was a good foul, he had ball. But He gets up and shoves Brogdon, and Monroe almost puts him in the crowd. Russell and Young were ejected for LA, Monroe for the Bucks. Monroe's going to get a fine and maybe suspended, but I like it, kinda. Shoving is all that happened, but Russell started the whole thing. But it did spark them, as the Bucks had been maintaining a 10-20 point lead at that point. Then the Lakers got back in the game.
Golden State tonight in a back to back. Get this win, you have winnable games against Portland and Sacto left... could be a big trip. Bucks are .500 for the first time since January.
Ingram and Young were running their mouths after the game. Idiots. They do realize Monroe would flatten them like a pancake?
