Dominic Raiola is a ****ing prick. That jag should be suspended this week.
He should be suspended for being a liar. To say he was stumbling and didn't do it on purpose is redickulous.
None of this matters. I hear Dallas is the only team that can hang with the mighty Seahawks these days.
Given his history, I wouldn't be surprised if Raiola is suspended for the stomp. At least, that's what should happen.

I think 7 points is too much. I expect a close game given the forecast.
The Lions defensive front might be the best in football, but some of their quickness is lessened playing on grass relative to the artificial turf.
If we run the ball semi-effectively, it's a win, but despite Raiola's idiocy, these aren't the same old Lions anymore. They won't give the game away.
The biggest issue right now is that the Packers special teams may be the difference in a close game.

Matt Stafford has had some clunker games this year, and yesterday was no exception.
He threw 2 picks in the red zone and has gotten sacked a lot this season. Yes some is on the OL, but he's holding the ball a lot and has made some pretty bad throws. I don't see a lot changing on the road in 20 degree weather.

Did you see the any of the Lions game on Sunday? Two RZ picks by Stafford. Ross with the bonehead play on a punt return. Stomp #2. They are very capable of giving a game away. Of course, they are also capable of winning but hopefully the streak continues.
48-17 Packers. This game will not be close.
The Lions defense looks legit with only Seattle giving up fewer points this season. That said, it just seems like defenses look like they are running in quicksand when they are at Lambeau (sometimes the Pack's defense looks that way as well).
I expect the Pack to win, but it will probably be an ugly win, not a blowout.
I hope you're right Boris, but there is a lot of talent on that team. That's what happens when you draft at the top year after year. The RBs are good and Bell can get you tough yards. Calvin Johnson is now healthy again and that is the best DL in the NFL. Deandre Levy is good.
Stafford is the wild card, but they have to put pressure on him. And our DBs have to catch the ball when he throws it to them.

One thing about the Lions this year is their ability to come from behind in the 4th quarter. These may have come against crappy teams, or teams that have become complacent and gone into prevent defenses, but the Packers can't expect anything but a 60 minutes game from them. The Lions will have the confidence to keep fighting and not give up.
Or maybe they have just been super lucky this year.
Green Bay defense continues to play well at home and win this game 27 to 14. Green Bay defense now ranked 13th overall. Foreskin, I mean forecast for Sun 21 with mix of clouds and sun, colder than its been.
Let's remember they beat us earlier and they are div foes so they know us well

When Suh stomped on Dietrich-Smith he was suspended two games. He appealed and the NFL held an expedited hearing before the next game and turned down the appeal. I can't see why they wouldn't do the same this time, but it is the NFL.

Good news for us
The difference in this game is going to be the Packers front 7. Matthews, Neal, Peppers, Daniels, Guion, etc. are playing with a ton of confidence right now. With a backup Center in there I could definitely see the Packers front 7 asserting itself and forcing Stafford into mistakes.
The big hurdle will be a healthy Calvin Johnson exploiting the holes in our zone coverage ala Julio Jones. A savvy vet like Johnson will find those holes. The only hope is Stafford not getting enough time to get him the ball. That was the problem with Atlanta, Ryan had enough time to let Jones get in those holes.
After the appeal hearing I wish the NFL could say, "Yes we screwed up. Your suspension was 2 games!!" I know they won't but that would be so cool. And so much for Caldwell having these guys under control. He's as big of douche as Schwartz.

You mean Raiola or Caldwell? I don't get the sense Caldwell is a douche in the same vein as Schwartz. I think Raiola would probably pull this crap regardless of who the coach was, he's just a scumbag human being. At least Caldwell has kept his guys from being menaces to society, gotta give the guy credit for that much.
