I don’t think the lost season changes boards honestly. Trevor Lawrence was going 1st overall (or top 5 at least) whether he played or not, only change would have been if he busts his knee or shoulder between now and the draft. Same with Fields, Lance, etc...the tape is there. There will be football next fall, no way in hell any school skips 2 years, so while true sophs and RS frosh will lose a season of film, they will get next year to make their case. So yeah maybe teams are a little more hesitant about 1 year wonders, it’s not like teams don’t burn high picks on 1 year wonders every year. Love will have to show out like Rodgers did against Dallas in ‘07 to create that opportunity for GB to make a tough call and teams to weigh his pros/cons.
