I'll admit the compensatory draft pick for suspending turds may not be the best option. But the NFL has to take a stronger stance on taking out the trash. Philly wanted no part of DeSean Jackson any longer. 5-6 teams had visits set up in 24 hours. Yes he's going to be someone else's headache but he's still an NFL image headache. There's plenty of crappy GMs willing to give guys like DeSean a contract. Aldon would be no different if SF cut him loose (I don't think they will)

Maybe a better direction is to take away a draft pick in the round a player was chosen if the NFL tosses that player out of the league?

Some really good points raised though after my initial post though.
