If what everyone is saying about Gard is true, and they just need to push past this year and get the 2017 class healthy, then for both Reuvers and Davison this year is a great education. They now know the difference- the adjustments to this level are being noted if these kids are going to amount to anything.

I don’t get the impression that either of these kids are mentally weak- they’re competitors. This year of taking it on the chin will be a catalyst to them being as good as they can be.

And while the above is 100% possible, I still think that Gard isn’t the right guy for the program.
