La'El agent said he wouldn't sign with anyone if he wasn't selected by round 3.

What I don't get about him choosing Dallas and Dallas giving him $1.7 million guaranteed is that he's only playing if Ronald Leary is told to get lost. Leary has started 31 games and has played great between Fredrick and Smith. Leary has played his ass off and was rewarded with a 1 year extension for $585k. The weak link on that line is Doug Free. He's signed through 2017.

While I kinda' sorta' get La'El's youthful enthusiasm that this Dallas OL could be the greatest offensive line of all time. It won't be the greatest offensive line of all time in Dallas. It won't be one of the 10 best all time Period. Once you get past the 1992 Cowboys. 1966 Packers. 1978 Rams, 1982 Oilers, 1974 Cardinals, 1983 Redskins you start getting to the next level of greatness. The 1976 Raiders OL included Upshaw, Shell, Dalby, Buehler, and Vella coached by Madden who worshipped the blocking strategy of Lombardi. If you buy into the lore of Madden he spent two solid months teaching Dave Dalby the Lombardi art and importance of center in the summer of 1975 after Jim Otto retired. Dalby was drafted in 1972 out of UCLA. Madden subscribed to Lombardi perfection from his OL.

The 2015 Cowboy line is good. But it's not much better than the Packers line of 2015. And its certainly not going to be one of the best ever. Ever.
