Talk about a tight window! How'd Brett fit that in there?

1994-1997 Brett Favre is still the best QB I've ever seen other than Mahomes in terms of elevating an otherwise very average team (and even Mahomes has had Kelce). Even better than AR (who was consistently elite for much longer, but I would argue never hit the peaks that Favre did considering who their receivers were). Favre made throws that shouldn't be possible, and during that time had dialed down the idiotic plays because Brunell (who was also a very good QB) had almost taken over for him at some point.

I have taught some classes over the years and it was like one of those moments where a kid understands things for the first time and light bulb goes off. It was glorious to watch.

Holmgren mentally checking out in 1998 and the failure to hire Andy Reid in 1999 where what created the downfall.

We didn't know he was a POS human being then and he hadn't gotten so full of himself that he was uncoachable.
